Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Bill and Dawn for making us feel safe during such unprecedented times. All the staff was very welcoming and Dawn and Bill had all the relevant safeguards in place and acted very professional when dealing with customers. We felt at ease both being inside and also being outside and they adapted well to all the necessary requirements made by the government. Well done to you both and looking forward to seeing you again very soon

Always welcoming, friendly staff, decent prices on drinks and real asset to the local community. This was a dying pub before it was taken on by current owners. Good to see live music every Saturday (some better than others, but that is live music for you)

Came in with some of my girlfriends after a hen do to round the weekend off. We all had a Roast dinner. It was like your mums Roast dinner it was delicious and even had homemade Yorkshire puddings. Roast potatoes were very yummy with fresh veg and the gravy was to die for. The staff couldn't do enough for you and were very welcoming and had a good selection of Wines that you can't get in the supermarket. Will definitely visit again.

Had a great home cook food served here. Great atmosphere very friendly and make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much for them and allow dogs in and give the dogs treats as have a treat stash just for dogs. It's like being home from home.
