A lovely course that requires careful judgement and placement. If you're steady off the tee and can hold your nerve around the greens you will find the visit very rewarding. We played the course as 2 x three balls and were welcomed by the chef...More

A real hidden secret of a club - find it and enjoy but try and keep your ball in play the rough is challenging - superb views from many of the holes and Arthur Conan Doyle a previous member

Challenging golf but never boring. Need to think and consider shots, not necessary a long drive needed. If golf frustrating , views are great and a great view afterwards on the balcony

Rolling Sussex countryside, beautifully designed old school lay out. Great condition in the summer. Followed by probably the best view from a club house terrace in the country!

Could not wish for better atmosphere. Friendly golfers and friends prop up the bar. Good service and chef aims to please. Magnificent views across the valley to the South Downs. Parking easy.

Previous reviews pointing towards snotty members could not have been further from our experience. It was a welcoming day all round not to mention the superbly challenging heathland course. Great value and fun thank you.
