This is a pretty setting and a lovely view of the River Spey. If you are into Thomas Telford and/or historic architecture, it's a good stop. Otherwise, it isn't worth a special trip to Craigellachie, but if your already there or passing thru it is...More

A beautiful bridge, a stunning bridge, a timeless bridge. But still, just a bridge. Pop over and have a look if in the area.

Not sure how you write a review for a bridge. It is one of those attractions that is better looking from a distance than from close up. The best picture is obtained from the nearby road bridge.

Well worth a quick visit. Park across the road and walk under the overpass. You can get some good views from here. You can also walk over the bridge as no traffic allowed now. Some nice walks along the river also.

We saw the bridge from our hotel room and went for a look. Plenty of information about the bridge on the plaques around the bridge. They give its history and you are able to walk over it. Cars are no longer allowed to drive over...More

Fantastic old bridge spanning the Spey Amazing how this used to be the main road to Rothes. How did they get around the bend?

It is what it says a bridge across the Spey at Craigellachie. But a great example, of Telford bridges. Lit up at night.
