The views from the castle are amazing. Definitely worth the 4 stars. It cost 2 euro to get in to the castle. Information in english was very poor and when we bought our tickets noone told us there was a museum included in the price. Therefore we missed the museum bit which was ashame. Next time!

It is a bit of a hike up to the castle, however this monument is well worth a visit, if only for the panoramic 360 degree views. Excellent value at a €2 entrance fee which also includes a visit to the museum. If visiting I would advise googling the castle beforehand as information boards at the Museum are only in... More

Whilst on a coach trip to Olvera we climbed to the top of the castle. It was a hard climb as many of the steps are very steep but it was all worth while to see the beautiful views from the top. The entrance fee is only 2€ which also includes the entrance to the little, but very interesting, museum.... More

The castle constructed at the end of 12th century, mostly in the 13th, giving the ability to communicate with other nearby castles through signals (e.g. reflecting light with mirrors).

Olvera is the known as the King of the White Villages and this is the crown! It is a treat to visit this lovely pueblo and the castle is worth the visit! Admission fees are low.... And the views of the town and surrounding countryside are spectacular. A must see!

Reach this by a slow climb through narrowing lanes. At the church go through the archway to the right and into the reception (there are toilets there too). You can buy a ticket here and the attendant will take you back down the row to the entry door. He or she will let you in, and you let yourself out... More

It's a bit of a hike up a lot of steps, but totally worth it. We had kids as young as 4 and they had no problem. The views are breathtaking, the castle and the museum cost 2 euro for adults and 1 for the kids, and was totally worth it. The brochure gives a nice bit of detail of... More

Worth the effort to climb to the top of Castillo Arabe. The view is fantastic and only 2 euros to enter which includes the small museum.

Easy to find but having parked the car as close as possible it is a fairly steep walk to the castle. The ticket office is to the side of the entrance and is very good value at 2€ each. The main door is to the side and then you can walk up the steps to the top. There are beautiful... More
