Had a fantastic week here in our tourer, a large pitch water, grey and electric. Lighting around the site of a night, nice toilet block with glorious showers. We also had a sheherds hut which is set out lovely. Large fishing lake with a gate to the top field, and a lovely dog walk through a wooded area.
Thank you to Sophie and Robert for all your help while on site with the rescue, rehoming us and realining our plug.

Pros: This was quite a nice site with suitable walks for dogs and a well stocked fishing lake for those who want to partake. Some nice views around the area but depending where you are sited you may find you have a bit of a trek to the showers and toilets.

Very friendly staff onsite and some lovely extras that we have not see before...chargeable jet wash use to clean either your car or caravan and in reception their is a small chest freezer with ice lollies and an 'honesty box'.

The showers are the best we have experienced so far this year with adjustable pressure and excellent control for hit and cold.

We came to this site to visit the Silverstone Museum which is about 20 minutes drive away.

We also visited Diddly Squat Farm on Friday afternoon which was about 40 minutes away and only 20 minutes wait for the shop :)

Bicester is only a 10 minute drive away and we spent £10 on a taxi to find a nice selection of shops, pubs and a few restaurants and takeaways.

Cons: Not ideal if you want an adult only site. We had a party or kids running around bleeping walky talkies and shouting through them for a few hours but this did stop towards the evening so was tollerable to us.

WiFi is advertised as available onsite for a small fee. The signal was strong and an open connection but failed when trying to connect. Called for information at reception and was advised that when you connect a link will pop up to a portal. This did not happen for both me and my son so we didn't bother.

Bit of a trek to the toilets for us but the toilets were clean and the showers were spot on.

Overall rating: 8/10

If there was a local shop or some basics for shopping onsite, or a bar/cafe then this would definitely have been a 9!

A beautiful setting for wedding photos by the lake, brand new immaculate facilities but the best thing about Glebe Leisure is Sophie and Chris who are friendly, accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help. A fantastic stay, 100% recommend and will definitely be back 😊

This place is literally awful, avoid at all costs!! Booked two pitches for our family via email and all seemed fine, were told we could have two pitches side by side, even better we thought!
When we arrived on site, we were shown to our 'pitches' which was right outside the reception and amenities block, pitches 23 and 24. I explained this was not appropriate as we have a young child and 2 dogs but were told they were fully booked and no other pitches available. They explained that a lady called Alison used to work there and was dismissed and actually should have told us where the pitches would be situated. The emails were checked and no mention of this at all. By this point we're getting annoyed and then an aggressive male comes striding out from the chalet next to reception and asks 'what's the problem?!' Extremely rude, aggressive, no understanding unlike his partner who was trying to rectify the situation. We asked for a refund on the deposit at this point and we'd just leave, he refused but his partner got us the money anyway. This is clearly a place where they just want to make money, the area outside reception is not suitable as pitches they are effectively a thoroughfare and whilst we were talking several people walked right through the pitch to go to the amenities block and carrying their washing up bowls!! Absolutely disgraceful place, avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As other reviews mention, the toilet block is a bit tired and doesn’t feel super clean. Friendly staff.

Nice setting and the dog walk is absolutely lovely but most local walks seem to be on the road if you’re on foot. The Red Lion in Stratton Audley is lovely and friendly but The Butchers Arms was shutting down before changing hands (at the time of writing) and The Muddy Duck incredibly busy.

This site has so much to offer but unfortunately what let it down was the toilet block which was cold, not very clean and the showers you were unable to keep anything dry as they were to small. During our stay there was a very unpleasant smell in the toilet block which was very off putting

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family in the area. We booked a hardstanding fully serviced pitch. T&C’s stated might need 12m of hose. When we arrived I went to check in. Very personable lady in reception. I mentioned the hose situation and she changed us to a grass pitch fully serviced. The fully serviced post is one between two, so you might find you are on the ‘wrong’ side of it and therefore you need long hoses for your water and grey waste. And this is why we changed pitch so that the services were on the ‘correct’ side of the van. We were near the fishing lakes and the site was nearly full in the Saturday night, but was not noisy. There were some children running about playing but nothing out of the ordinary. We took a walk around the fishing lakes and there is a lovely large open grass area. We found the dog walk which was really good. A lovely wooded L shaped walk. Plenty of bins around for the dog poop. I did not use the toilets or showers so can’t comment on them (we use our own facilities in our van), but I did put my head in the door to have a look and it seemed clean and well kept. Overall a well kept tidy site and we would stay again another time. If you fancy Indian takeaway while there then we can recommend Nadia’s which is in Bicester. Food was fab.

We booked over telephone. And asked about the Wi-Fi. Was told it was all over the site.
When we got on site then was told the Wi-Fi was down and has been for weeks.
So was mis sold .we did complain but nothing
We also found the showers and the toilet block to be old and dirty .we did speak with the site owner he told us if I wanted clean .I’ve booked the wrong site.
Very late arrivals making loads of noise .huge groups ect .

So we decided to leave early. And was told we would get a refund by the owners wife upon her return from Spain..
The next morning her son came and spoke to me and said he would not refund us.
However could return for a free booking next time instead.

Don’t think I would ever go back there . So asked for a refund. Still nothing.

Could be a great site . The dog walk and lakes are great . With some new staff cleaners and rules .this could return to a 3 star AA . At some point this site would have been wonderful but now very run down .

Some friends had booked a weekend away on their van and invited us over for a bbq and a couple of drinks.

I was not impressed with the site. In my opinion it needs some care and attention
