- RakeshBicester, United Kingdom3 contributionsProud of you Team Loccitane, Bicester, UK !!!It's always said and I believe in the fact, brand names are a mirror of employees, who support them. Today on 4th Oct, I visited Loccitane showroom at Bicester, Oxfordshire, UK. The products were amazing. Team members were very alert and helpful. In particular, I want to mention the names of Ms. Ana Cardoso and Ms. Alina at the Loccitane. Both the staff were very courteous, smiling, welcoming and moreover, their product knowledge was par excellence. I am very happy. Proud of you girls!!! Keep it up!!Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 4 October 2023

Traffic much improved with no queuing with multi-storey car park and off site overflow with free shuttle. Gets busy at weekends but what do you expect. All the shops and offerings you would expect. Food outlets are over priced. Great connection to rail station from LondonVisited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 7 October 2023
- Aimee G3 contributionsAmazing customer service!!!It was my birthday today and I couldn't have had a better experience in Gucci thanks to Urszula Faron! What a lovely lady who is guaranteed to brighten your day. She made me feel so special on my birthday and picked out the perfect present for me. Incredibly professional, helpful and provides great advice, as well as superf attention to detail! Thankyou!Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 October 2023
- jacqui43Spalding, United Kingdom716 contributionsNot the bestWe were really looking forward to our visit but left feeling disappointed. There are no real bargains just the same price as the high street. I agree with other reviewers, the staff look down their noses at you unless you are purchasing something expensive, a good example of this was the Mulberry shop who were all over other customers with the champagne. The best bargains were in The Rituals shop were the staff were lovely.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 26 October 2023
- Raven RoseCardiff, United Kingdom12 contributionsShopping heavenHad a brilliant day here. A Saturday but not as busy as I expected, some small queues to get into some stores but no more than 5 minutes. Ample parking, no traffic jams and well signposted. We found the staff extremely lovely and helpful. Good bargains( half price bag in Coach), complimentary champagne in Marc Jacobs. If you visited with a limited budget, you'd probably not enjoy yourself as much as it is expensive (it is a designer outlet after all!). Stayed 4 hours.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 28 October 2023
- Judy4 contributionsPoor customer service -UggGreat shopping at Bicester. Coach Burberry and YSL can’t fault the outlet and the service staff. However Ugg was a very different experience. My daughter bought some slippers for a gift for her dad. 10 minutes after we’d purchased them and left the store she found she had purchased the wrong size. We returned and spoke with the senior sales assistant. Rude does not begin the describe her attitude. She said she could not exchange the slippers because they were end of line and would not even let us know if they had the correct size. We asked 3 times if she would check for the correct size and we would just buy them but 3 times she said she would not. My daughter said she had not been informed at the time of the sale that she could not exchange the slippers but the sales assistant would not accept this-she said that the receipt said they would not exchange and that this covered their back. So not interested in the customer experience or that we would like to enjoy our purchase and for it to bring joy! No it was not the correct size but that didn’t matter to her-she had covered her back!! But how can the customer know this if the serving sales assistant doesn’t tell you and you receive the receipt after the purchase has been completed. Ugg your products may be good but your sales staff aren’t interested and do not care. I will never buy Ugg products again -appualing customer service!!Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 5 November 2023
- Welshy999South Wales, United Kingdom29 contributionsBicester Village is worth a visit if you're in the area but....We visited Bicester Village after a long time of planning to but never getting around to it! It is a pleasant day out with some great shopping if you go with a clear idea of what you want. Prices make this a worthwhile trip and there are some real bargains to be had especially ladies fashion and high end watches. My only criticism is that there seemed to be a lack of comfortable indoor areas to enjoy a drink or bite to eat (it was cold and windy when we visited and this caused us to leave earlier than we maybe would have otherwise. Did I enjoy the visit? YES. Would I go back? Only if I was in the areaVisited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 November 2023
- missmiller2001London, United Kingdom6 contributionsGift card policyLove this place and the variety of shops available. The only reason I dropped a star is because I think the policy on the gift cards should be changed. The 12 month limit to use should only start from activation, not from purchase. Sometimes you don’t get the chance to get to Bicester in a year what with family commitments, work, holidays, life in general! I really think this is something to be taken into consideration going forward. Otherwise I have no qualms and absolutely love this shopping experience xVisited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 December 2023
- nozzzzz2015Worcester, United Kingdom254 contributionsAverage unless you are rich!Recently visited and have to admit I was a bit disappointed with it. A lot of very high end shops offering very little discounts / savings. Its clearly set up for tourists and rich Brits! I thought it would be more like other retail outlet villages but just found it average at best. Walked round for an hour or two, bought a couple of things and left. I also noticed some staff scanning your bags before deciding if you are worth helping or not, bit of bag snobbery! Parking fine and easy to get in and out of. But personally I wont be rushing back.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 11 December 2023
- ed anSingapore, Singapore159 contributionsNot a great place to shop unlike the one in the USWas here in early December. Didn't find the range of items wide enough and value for money. Ended up just buy a pair of Vans shoes and a Kate spade sling bag. Unlike other visitors who left with luggages. If you are after brand-name items, and they do not have to be the very latest releases, then you will likely find a visit to this outlet centre very worthwhile. That said, often we have seen the same items on sale as we have seen in the London outlets of the same brand. We have never come away from here empty handed, and always have been very pleased with the savings made. We came late afternoon/ear/y evening after spending time in Oxford, when the crowds had eased - it can get very busy. Also, if the weather forecast suggests the possibility of rain, then bring an umbrella, as the mall is not undercover.

I went to Bicester shopping village and have been there many times but will certainly recommend anybody who fancies a day shopping to go there The shopping village is now extended beyond belief and there are all types of shops and outlets there I would suggest you go online to have a look at the type of outlets that are currently there because they do seem to change. However in this period of unease over the Corvona virus if you feel up to going out shopping I would suggest that now is the time to go as when I went on the 9th of March and there were so few people compared to normal shopping times. This makes getting around the place a lot easier and you get excellent customer service in most of the shops. I would also point out for anybody with mobility issues if you go into the visitor centre you are able to book a mobility scooter which you can use to get round all of the shops some with difficulty because the displays are quite close but most of the shop keepers are are very supportive in moving displays so that you can get to places or they would bring items to you. There are plenty of eateries ranging from expensive to pret a manger . The only downside was trying to eat at itsu as they have no facility for anybody in a wheelchair to be able to sit or transfer to inside the restaurant other than bringing a table in out of the back but then you do feel very much on display and they didn't source any chairs to go with it for my companion. There are also plenty of toilet facilities which are set up for disabled throughout the shopping village.

Bicester Village has lots of designer stores that offer decent discounts. The parking can be problematic, but there is a park and ride facility if you do not fancy trawling around the car park waiting for a space.
There are currently measures in place for taking your temperature prior to entering the village. Certain stores are operating a virtual queuing system. The virtual queuing system is a total waste of time as everybody is crawling all over each other once they enter the store. Certain stores are limiting the amount of customers that enter. All stores offer hand sanitizer.

If I could give this place a zero I definitely would! Parking was okay, if you manage to find a space before some lovely individual breaks every rule in the driving license book to ensure they wangle into the space before you manage to get in.
There was a queuing system on arrival into the village. Absolutely pointless considering as soon as you get in you realise you’re amongst a swarm. We approached Levi’s and the very rude member of staff declared that unless we’d joined the virtual queue (which wasn’t available at this time) we’d be unable to enter. No apologies given, just a very matter-of-fact statement. It was only 1pm!
Absolutely zero social distancing and many people without masks! If you value both your health and your sanity, do not go! I will never be returning.

I used to go to Bicester all the time 10 years ago and pick up great bargains and make a day of it with a nice lunch (miss good old Carluccios) but now it seems like all it’s charm has gone and it’s just hoards and hoards of people being let in creating bottlenecks in every shop entrance and exit.
Now you even have to book a time slot to enter some shops?? As if I’m going to actually book a slot to go into places like Gucci and Prada when the discounts are now barely 10% for many items.
If you are still wary of Covid then you will not enjoy merging in with thousands of shoppers walking in all directions, not one person trying to stay 1m apart and not reading the signs saying to stick to the left.
I was really surprised with the amount of people let in, we struggled to find any seating not being occupied for hours on end by bored looking partners and every restaurant was heaving.
I feel like Bicester has become a victim of its own success and now barely worth a trip, it’s certainly no longer a nice leisurely day out!

My husband and I are frequent shoppers at Bicester and went last week prior to the Bank Holiday mayhem.
As we have visited over the last few years we have seen a lot of changes including price hikes and a the new digital queue system (which looks like it will be a permanent system).
There are very few bargains to be found and most reductions are so low that you may as well go to the actual stores for a better shopping experience.
The worst to visit I s Christian Louboutin who stupidly allow very few people in store. Over two days (and visits prior) we made several attempts to access the virtual queue system however it is always closed as there are too many people waiting. We literally waited all day to visit and after speaking to door staff we gave up (odd few are pleasant others very rude and clearly annoyed that several customers complain about the digital queue system). It is very off putting generally having to wait and not have a guaranteed trip inside. It’s now happened 4 times during the last few trips there so we have given up and now refuse to even try next time we head there.
Generally Bicester is an experience, wear comfortable shoes as you will walk and wait a lot. Gucci has good customer service as does Prada. Prices aren’t as reduced as you think they will be and staff at the doors are usually rude and judgemental.

There are about 150 stores, mostly designer shop after designer shop, many that I’ve not heard of before. Personally, I’m not one that has to have these fashions or pay the discount prices they’re asking. I prefer the McArthur Glen outlets where there is more of a variety of shops not just clothing.
At 11am parking around the shops was full, and cars were just driving around.
We eventually found the multi storey which is a three minute walk to the shops.
To make the most of your time, you can book a space in a digital queue once you're in the Village at some of the boutiques. This is probably more in use at the weekend, but there’s a lot of negative comments about it.
We did make a few purchases from The White Company, so our visit was not in vain after all, but I will not return.

My first visit since the reopening of all shops after covid lockdown.
I have been to a couple of other stores over the last few weeks and it was all very quiet. This is what i expected when visiting Bicester village this time - but that was not the case.
I just wanted to give a 'heads up' for anyone wanting to visit.
I went mid week (wednesday) and it was alot busier than I was expecting, no long queues but they have this digital queuing system for some of the shops. By the time we got to the store the queue was closed, so we couldn't join. I would recommend if you are planning to visit certain stores then go to them as you arrive and sign into the queue, then you have your allocated time - to avoid disappointment.
People are all wearing face masks, there is sanitiser gel as you enter all stores and all restaurants are open - all fully operational.
An enjoyable and successful trip as always. But would have been useful to have known more about the new 'post covid' Bicester.

Fist time at Bicester Village and it was a bit meh! I've been to designer outlets before so I knew that the stock would be a bit hit and miss, but did end up purchasing quite a few bits. We also bought the £35 VIP package, which meant we could park right at one of the entrances, this saved a lot of hassle and also saved us some ££ was we shopped! Would highly recommend looking at that service.
We went on a Sunday, fully aware that it would be busy but there was absolutely no social distancing in place and people completely ignored the arrows on the floor so everyone was walking where they wanted - a bit disorganised. The virtual queuing system was the worst part, only really went for Gucci and I checked with the security every half hour to see if it had opened up. After trying for hours, managed to get in at 5pm when the store shut at 6pm so it was a bit of a rush to shop around.
Jo Malone hut was a joke, only 1 person was allowed in at any one time but I wanted to bring my mum in with me so she could smell but the lady wouldn't let us - even though we were together so we never went in, a few other couples did the same thing, potentially lost out on business, which is ridiculous as they were COUPLES!!! Should be 1 family/couple/group.
I think the amount of people just doing what they wanted definitely damped the day for me, I would go back but try a weekday instead to see if that made any difference

Well what can i say , i was left stunned! I picked 3 products and went to pay at the tills. There was no other customer at the till, just me and the cashier. The cashier must have just assumed i was foreign or thought i'd be too much of an idiot to notice. Anyway she asked me for £100 more than the price!!!...shocked right?! Yeh me too! So i asked her in English much to her surprise how she had come up with that figure especially as i had a discount code. She said discount is already applied...cheeky to say the least. At this point i lost my cool, she was taking me for a mug! So i told her even if she priced up without the discount code how was she asking me for £100 more than the tagged price, i asked her to go through it with me. At this point her computer till "stopped working" she said oh lets try another till..we moved tills and Magic she scanned the items and applied the discount and asked for the right amount! I was not happy to say the least.
Just want to say if you don't look" English" be careful other people have also told me about staff over charging at Bicester Village. Especially the Arab and Chinese shoppers!! ...disgusting.

No, some shops as you walk passed scan the waiting sign it’ll give you a time slot and when it’s time , there’s a rep from the shop outside who’ll take your name and send you straight in .
Enjoy !!

Hi Jake, I 100% agree with you about Ralph Lauren's store at Bicester. To be honest it is always packed in their new there. But, as you say, they've done a deal with Primark, haha. I'm given to understand that all the stuff in there is made for the outlets and, people who have no concept of quality clothing don't see past the label! Have you ever considered Brooks Brothers at Bicester? They have only quality clothing, I'm a convert from RL. I use their stores in the US. I admit they do produce for the outlets but it's top quality. The only way to tell their main store stuff is very slightly different label. Ask me more about them if you're interested.
