Immaculately kept place. Great experience with the elephants - feeding, washing with them in the river, photographing. Excellent amenities - the staff would give you pants and thongs to wear in the river so you can keep your clothes dry. Ladies - bring a bikini...More

This is truly a great experience and it is not a circus. These elephants are testimony to the hard work and care the team here give them and was an honour to be involved. Its hard work feeding an elephant so come prepared to muck...More

In my time in Asia, I have been to a lot of elephant sanctuaries/visits, and I really enjoyed this one. It is similar in outlook to other more responsible sanctuaries, so there is none of this riding elephants which is bad for their backs. There...More

Such an enjoyable and memorable day. Our family of four adults enjoyed every moment. Camp was very scenic, had a relaxed feel and showed a great respect for nature. Lunch was delicious and the time spent feeding and bathing the beautiful elephants was so special.

We had a wonderful experience, small groups, great informative introduction, respectful and honest treatment to the elephants, friendly and relaxed guides with lots of flexibility. I fully recommend this place, it's an experience you would never forget!

We have spend a whole day in this place not only looking after the elephants but also learning a ton about them. Extra activities like a trek with planting a tree and a lesson about paper production was simply terrific. The man who looked after...More

Whilst it is slightly pricier, I would still recommend to those who are happy to spend a bit more. You get your moneys worth with an incredible "spa time" experience in the water with an elephant, and great lunch is inclusive. Highly informative and enjoyable!

This was such a wonderful experience ......being so close to the elephants. Feeding them, learning a huge amount , having lunch, water, sun lotion, etc provided. It was a little haven of happiness and kindness, rescuing hurt and retired elephants. The handlers answered any questions...More

We planned our visit to Kalaw specifically to visit Green Valley and it was absolutely worth it. We did Program A due to wet weather and spent the day participating in daily care of the elephants. This involves feeding by hand and a midday bath...More

From Yangoon to Heho round about 500 km to fly 1 hr. From Heho to Kalaw, Kalaw to elephant camp round about 1hr drive by car so you arrive to elephant. One thing you have to book to the elephant cammp agency before.
