A first visit in ages and what a wonderful day. The gardens have re-opened and they are superb and looking great. The gardeners have worked so hard and you can see this in every part of the garden. There is an outdoor pop up cafe - great coffee, lovely homemade food - scones and sandwiches were amazing. Will definitely return

A fantastic afternoon walking through the gardens of this hidden gem. It may not be in the same league as Chatsworth House, but so many different parts to the gardens. Even something for children to do. Do try the café. A small but different café menu

I love Renishaw and there was nothing to disappoint me today. Staff are always friendly, delicious safe lunch on warm courtyard, beautiful places to sit quietly in the sun. It has its own magic

We had an afternoon slot with our HHA membership. Certainly not disappointed. Beautiful gardens exceptionally maintained. We loved roaming about the estate, all topped off with delicious gluten free chocolate cake and coffee.

Able to make a mid morning booking for an afternoon visit to the gardens (as hall not currently open) using our HHA membership. Checked in and got a map of the gardens before going for a cream tea in the courtyard cafe. All the tables were outside and indicated as clean. A waitress took our order and brought it to our table quite quickly. Scones were tasty but slightly overcooked and tea was served in disposable cups. Paid at the end and track and trace details registered. Then walked around gardens and woodland which was quite extensive with some quite steep paths to the lake. Not a lot of flowers out in the gardens but they were quite well maintained and there were some nice views of the hall. Toilets were nice and clean with plenty of sanitiser stations around. Hope to go back when hall and museum are able to reopen to visitors.
