Huai'an is not heavily visited by Westerners, and that makes for an interesting change from the typical tour. An intelligent leader of China who never strayed from his beliefs and support of all Chinese, especially the peasants. The home reflects this and much more.

For a foreigner, it is always interesting to see the way other cultures lived in the past. Mr Zhou was an important part of Chinese history and it is good to see that they are making a good effort to preserve his past. Surprisingly, there is very little translation here, so having a local or a guide would be useful... More

Interesting insight into the early life of Zhou Enlai including the actual room and, apparently, the bed on which he was born! Very little English translation on any items so tour guide translator highly recommended.
