Something different and well worth doing
Had such a lovely time on my llama trek. Beautiful walk and Noah the llama was great. I have a disability and the host accommodated that and was very helpful. I did the trek on my own and the host was very friendly and chatty and I learnt so much about the llamas. This wasn’t something I’d ever think about doing but I’m so glad I did - wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone.

    Fantastic experience
A great experience hosted by a really friendly, knowledgeable couple who clearly love animals and look after them so well. Loved learning about the llamas and how each one came to stay at the farm. Each has their own unique personality and quirks. A fabulous couple of hours trekking along quiet lanes and through the woods, such a great way to spend an afternoon.

    Beautiful experience
Amazing experience with some beautiful animals. We were taken on a scenic walk around the local countryside, including through a forest. Matt's company throughout the walk absolutely made the experience, he was so friendly and you could really tell he loved the animals. He was on hand to teach you how best to guide the Llamas and was full of information. Matt was very accommodating with moving the time of the walk, as the weather was very hot and so not suitable for the Llamas to comfortably walk in. If you are going on a walk in the evening I would recommend wearing long trousers and/or a long sleeved shirt, as flies naturally tend to come out during the evening, particularly around wooded areas.

    Fantastic
The whole experience was fantastic from the moment we got there to the time we left. Wonderful llamas and great and friendly staff. The trek was at a nice pace taking in stunning scenery and with great company. I would definitely do it again and would highly recommend these guys if you are thinking of walking with llamas.

Llama Lovers' Paradise: A Remarkable Tracking Experience
This was such fun!! The trek itself was through beautiful countryside. The llamas are just the best (we really wanted to take them home!). They are just so gentle and gorgeous. We learnt so much from Matt and Alex who were leading our outing. Thoroughly enjoyable. Very relaxing and destressing. A great activity for everyone

    Llamazing and life changing
This was the best thing we’ve ever done, and boy have we done a lot! We’re both huge animal lovers but had never been around llamas before so weren’t sure what they would be like with us. We need not have worried as the staff gave us clear instructions at the beginning and immediately put us at ease. The llamas themselves are true gentlemen, very respectful of idiots like us and they were very patient throughout the walk waiting for us to figure out what us humans were supposed to be doing! We both agreed afterwards it was a real highlight of our trip and we will definitely be coming back. 10/10 for their rehoming efforts too, these guys have helped rehome hundreds of llamas all over the UK and they have started a charity to give every llama an amazing home at their Pembrokeshire llama sanctuary which we think is an amazing idea and a worthy cause which everyone should give generously too!

    Great afternoon for my birthday
A great trek (just under 2h) taking in some roads, and woodland paths. Lovely time talking with Alex and Matt (the guides), and Hendrix and Dylan (the llamas). Highly picturesque part of the world, and worth it just for a stroll with the views alone, but definitely a great experience with the llamas and with knowledgeable and amiable guides to direct you.

    It is raining llamas!
Went on a very wet llama trek that was nonetheless absolutely amazing. The atmosphere and the llamas were lush. Will make sure to bring my in-laws next time, otherwise they will never speak to me again.

    Will definitely come back!
After moving to Pembrokeshire on my own for work, I decided to do something different and treat myself to a relaxing animal experience. It was well worth it. A lot of experiences I have done in the past are very 2+ people centered, but the trek felt so personal! There were a couple of other people walking llamas, but I was very well looked after. Thank you for this wonderful walk, I will be back :)

    Frosty llama adventures
We went on llama trek the same day we arrived to the UK. Apart from being overall tired from our extended journey, we loved absolutely every second of our llama walk. It was extraordinary to see the snow not melting on their backs as we walked through the frosty woodland. I can tell you - llamas are amazing handwarmers! We wish the Sanctuary all the best with their magnificent work.

What a wonderful excursion in the valleys of Pembrokeshire. Llamas were a blessing, lovely lovely creatures. My daughter told us it was the best birthday present ever.

A gem of a place,if you like wildlife this is the place for you,the llama trek was great really enjoyed ,my llama hendrix was well behaved on the walk and I learned how stubborn a llama can be if he doesn't want to do something.we stayed in the lodge for 3 nights and had terrible weather but all ok with the logburner going. The geese ,turkey's, chickens,on the farm are real characters and will be in the lodge with you if you don't shut the door.A great weekend and will be back when the weather is better.

We decided to go on a llama walk after visiting Bolivia few months prior. While this was certainly a very different experience (much better roads and weather for sure!), we still felt that amazing connection with nature and the incredible animals that the llamas are. I am in love.

Probably what lots of others have said before us - this was the highlight of our visit to Sir Benfro. The llamas, the woods, the walk itself were such an incredible experience, it left us smiling the whole day afterwards.

Not sure who enjoyed it more, us or the kids! We were basically fighting for cuddles, the llamas are very calm and docile in the best way possible. They were happily munching away while we were taking pictures. Wonderful woodland as well.
