Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The organisation for such a big event was impressive. Toilet and drinks queues were a little daunting, but the welcome both in the town and the stadium heavily outweighed these minor difficulties and the whole event had an excellent atmosphere. Toyota Stadium provided us, as a family including a small child, with a good experience. Thankyou.

Watching games in the rugby World Cup, we were impressed with the size and scope of the stadium. The view included part of the city visible above the terraces of seats. Quick exit back to trains and interesting structure.

The stadium is a reasonable walk from the city centre over a bridge.

The stadium is a little dated and the seats are of a bucket style but comfortable

The East and West stands are very steeply tiered the top rows not ideal for vertigo sufferers.

We attended a Rugby World Cup match with a 35,000 crowd and the stadium could not cope with those numbers - there was a 45 minute queue for food.

Leaving was a real pain with the massive number of people attempting to cross the bridge at the same time.

A bit of a walk out of the centre of town but the stadium itself is well designed. It has very good access and when leaving the stadium the crowds can get out quickly.

I sat in literally the last row of the upper stand so you’d better be fit to get up there and not have had too much to drink. Great view though.

Been to Toyota Stadium several times, the latest being in June to see Japan vs Trinidad in an international friendly football match.

Positives: A pretty attractive stadium, some tickets are reasonably priced, most of the stadium is covered, reasonably accessible from Toyota or shin-Toyota stations, and a pretty good atmosphere (although atmospheres at Japanese stadiums are in general very controlled and do not involve spontaneous singing/chanting). As with all Japanese stadium it’s clean and well-maintained, and people and staff are friendly and helpful.

Negatives: Invariably there are often long lines for any refreshments or items you want to buy. As mentioned above, the atmosphere is quiet unless you’re in the ‘supporter’s seats’. These are fun to be in but even then you just follow what some bloke at the front tells you to do. It’s all very contrived. Also, if you sit in one of the upper tiers the gradient is very steep so not good for those afraid of heights, and one end of the stadium is uncovered so watch out for that if you are sat there on a day of bad weather. The walk from the station also takes a while.

A good stadium and worth visiting, but it isn’t likely to blow you away.

I only saw the stadium from the outside. It looks... like a stadium. I assume if there were sports in season it would be more fun, but from the outside, it is not much to see.

The bridge to the stadium is awesome, a beautiful arched suspension bridge in the middle of the park.

I've been to matches at this stadium in the past (best was grampus8 v chubu) and it's brilliant.
Well set out, brilliant atmosphere and a lot of fun.
I've told the guys I'm here with what an impressive stadium it is, so we all made the reasonably short walk from Toyotashi centre, across the bridge to the stadium, thinking they may do tours.
Nope! All closed up, they were very disappointed, even the club shop was locked up and bare.
Shame really as it's a lovely stadium and the lads would have loved a tour of it, instead of just a lap around the outside.

The design of the stadium is very impressive. It is only 15-20 min walk away from the Toyota city center.
But the most important is to have the chance of experiencing beer and chips during match.

Entrance is for free. Impressive especially when is completely empty. A walk from Toyota's railway station will take about 20-30 minutes.
