You should give these guys a go...
What a great experience and everyone is so friendly. Mike was my 'instructor' and gave me a lot of confidence. It was very, very muddy and all the better for it. Great location and a very fun experience. If you have your own overalls, I recommend you take them as their stock is need of some replacement. Highly recommended.

Informative and relaxing museum and activities ran by very kind and helpful staff.
Visited today to look around the museum and take part in air rifle shooting and archery with my partner. We had Mick as our instructor and he was brilliant! Very patient, supportive and encouraging. Although a very safe environment, the entire place has a very relaxed atmosphere and we were well looked after. Would like to return one day to try the tank driving!

The whole experience was great! Bought as a birthday present and they did not disappoint. The staff were fantastic, we had Alex take us out in the tank and he was great. The museum afterwards was wonderful as well. Great day out, highly recommend to anyone.

    Tank driving experience
Great place - we went for a tank driving experience at 11am. Staff are all friendly and welcoming and the place is well signposted. Dan our instructor was excellent. Very organized instructions and we actually started early. There's more to driving a tank than I'd imagined and it was a bit more physical than I thought but Dan is so calm with his instructions through the headset that you feel pretty confident. Lots of vehicles in the museum part too for afterwards. Prices for drinks were very reasonable. This was a great Christmas present and I'm really pleased that I had the experience. Thank you all! 🙏

Mad, memorable fun in the mud
This is an awesome experience .. a great instructor, and a fun route through mud and up/down hills. My wife was driving and I tagged along as a passenger: both of us agreed that the experience was mad, memorably and too brief! Really really recommend (and only losing a star here because we would have wished to play for longer).

    An absolutely fantastic experience.
A brilliant experience for a 60th birthday present. Mick was an excellent instructor, my husband has never grinned so much and for the rest of the day he chuckled away every time he thought about it. He thoroughly enjoyed every minute and I had a great time as a passenger in the turret. We also enjoyed looking around the museum which had some great vehicles and displays to check out.

I purchased the tank paintball experience for my husband as a surprise 60th birthday present. I paid for the tank driving option and for myself as a passenger. This also allowed us to visit the museum at no extra charge, which we did prior to the tank driving. The museum was very interesting and consisted of an array of military vehicles and tanks, many from World War 2, which we both enjoyed. Following that, we then made our way to reception where we met up with Zac our instructor. He explained what was going to happen and issued us with our protective clothing and helmets. He then went through the safety brief before we climbed into our respective tanks. There were a total of 4 people in our tank, and each person took it in turns to drive. We then practiced loading and firing the paintballs and Zac went through our battle plan before the battle commenced! The whole experience lasted approximately 2 hours which we both agreed was excellent value for money and as an added bonus our tank won! Zac our instructor was excellent, he was certainly very knowledgeable, amusing, and definitely put as all at ease.

I would advise people to take a packed lunch, as the cafe area is quite limited in that it mainly sold hot drinks and a few small snacks. There is also the opportunity at the end to purchase photographs which they give you on a USB drive; we did purchase this, as we wanted a special momento of our day, which again was pretty good value.

All in all, we both thoroughly enjoyed our tank paint ball experience and would highly recommend Armourgeddon if you are looking for something a little bit different and totally unique.

A Great Experience to have taken part in was really worth the Trip, Tank Driving Experience the Track was well muddled up and gave it a more realistic feel to how Tanks Drive in Rainy / muddy conditions. Stopping the rear end from sliding out whilst maintains a nominal speed for the vehicle on this Track. I was one of three people to drive, I went last. The Instructor was first class he was welcoming and funny and Suso very informative of the vehicle how it works, about its history add how many Tank Crew would be in it. Health & Safety Information was clear and understanding as was the Driving Instruction of the stank . Overall First Class. I would recommend this experience and would even go again. The Museum on site Vehicje and War related weapons etc are well presented and informative. Thoroughly enjoyed it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊

Got a 'Tank Driving Taster' experience as a gift, which came in a nice booklet with the voucher inside. Staff were friendly when booking the experience over the phone.
Arrived on the day and was welcomed in a friendly manner by the manager, easy exchange of info and well explained the process.
While waiting for my experience, we could walk around the museum or wait while watching others on theirs.

When on the experience we were called by the instructor, mine on the day was Ben. He was professional and friendly, was a good laugh. Safety briefing outside the vehicle was well communicated and understood before we even entered the tank. Of the three drivers, I went last, transition was easy and again explained by Ben. Driving the tank was an AWESOME experience, and a photographer was present to take pictures while everyone was having a go.
Ben was fantastic with me and my partner, very friendly and professional.

Once the actual experience was done, he showed us back to the staging area where we were presented with a presentation of the photos taken. We were able to purchase these (as an added extra of £27.50, USB given with branding as of review time) which I though was a reasonable price.

The actual museum was smaller than expected, but very cool none the less, I am an avid fan of WW2 armour and weaponry, so seeing several Allied and Axis equipment was great. There are also plenty of pieces of info around each vehicle so you can learn about these machines.
There is also a cold war section, with a couple of tanks and helicopters. You can also handle a de-activated AK47, Uzi SMG and WW2 rifle.
My only issue, this is totally personal to me and not detrimental to the centre was there was NO access to the Chieftain/Centurion Tank on display, due to being being fenced off to house an air worthy helicopter (which is also awesome to see, but I much preferred the tank!). It was still visible from the side and rear, but I wanted to take a photo of the front. Apart from my own little issue, again no detriment to the overall experience, Armourgedden was amazing to go to, and I will be coming back to do more experiences! Thanks for the day!

I bought this experience for a birthday gift for my husband and he loved it.
We had a great morning, staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable, my husband drove a tank and I paid to join in his fun for a small fee. Worth every penny. Professional photos were taken of us driving around the course and we were able to have all the photos on a memory stick for an extra fee. Had a cafe to sit and watch other people’s experiences and the museum had many items and vehicles to do with WWI and II. Very interesting and enjoyable.

This is a great day out - highly recommend.
Protective combat clothing provided (optional but saves clothes getting dirty and/or ripped on instruments within the tank) and helmet (Not optional as manoeuvring around the tank means head bumps are likely).

I joined 3 other people (The tank takes 4 plus the instructor) who booked individually and it worked really well, with 2 laps each in the driving seat (open hatch/closed hatch, 15 mins driving in total), and also taking turns to sit in the back as passenger for 2 laps, and up in the turret for 4 laps of great views of the surrounding countryside.

Really great instruction when driving, and it's easier than you think and great fun! They also allow you to take pics on your phone throughout, except when driving obviously.
The museum was interesting too, probably enough there for an hours' worth of looking.
Little van with good coffee, cold drinks and a few snacks, reasonably priced.
Only downside was £27 for a USB stick of 200 photos taken by them on the day - no option to order/print individual shots (No pressure to buy).
Great option for family/friends to spectate (£9pp, under 5's free) with good views from indoor and outdoor areas.
Other than the photo price, this is a great experience.

My wife bought me the tank paintball experience as a birthday gift, and it was absolutely fantastic! I was able to book two friends on so we went as a group of 3. Our instructor was called Dan, and he was superb.

We arrived 30 mins before the booking time as recommended, and spent about 20 minutes of the extra time looking around the incredible collection of arms and armour.

Dan then came and greeted us, took us to the tanks (or waggons as they seem to prefer to call them) and ran us through a few safety bits as it was refuelling. We then each had a turn learning how to drive the tank around the large course. Then each had a turn operating the turret/aiming, and firing/reloading as a team.

Then Dan briefed us on how the tank battle would work. Essentially there are two tanks running pretty much parallel to each other. The driver sets off and stops at a series of posts. Each time you stop, the gunners load, aim and fire at the opposing tank twice. Then regardless of whether you hit the tank or not, the driver then moves on to the next post. I think you had 12 paintballs all together, so there were 6 posts to drive to each time. You tally up how many hits you got on the enemy tank, and see who got more at the end. We got 8/12, and the other team got 6/12.

In the tank paint ball battle itself, you each have to pick what you are going to do for the duration of the battle. I picked driver as that was my favourite part of the experience, however it would have been neat to be able to do 3 battles and take a turn in each crew position. But I can understand why you only get to do 1 battle, as that's essentially what you've paid for.

I'll definitley be back again to try out being gunner or loader during the battle next time! But it was great that you got to try out all 3 in the initial training.

I got heaps of pictures/videos on my phone, and they have a proper photographer as you do the practice laps, so you can purchase the digital images on a memory stick after. I'll admit I thought the charge for those pics was a bit steep at £49, but I did get 71 photos, and at the end of the day, how often do you get to have a pic of you and your mates driving a tank. Plus you can split that cost between the 3 of you so it's about £16.50 each and you can all share them since they're digital.

100% recommend. This was one of the coolest experiences I have done, by far!

I had been given some vouchers to put towards an experience and wanted to do something that would be totally different to anything I had done before...I certainly found it! From beginning to end the staff were welcoming and helpful to myself and my partner. We went for a look around the museum whilst waiting for our allotted time, which was well worth a visit in itself. We were given the choice of putting army style clothing over our own clothes, it was a good idea to say yes, as it was quite muddy. I was first, and if you follow what the instructor (Ben was ours and was fab) says, you will pick it up very quickly. One lap around the field looking out through the open hatch, then one lap through the very small window with the hatch down. My partner then did the same as me and I was looking out of the turret. Overall an absolutely amazing experience for both of us, we would absolutely recommend it and we also purchased the photos that were taken during the drive...brilliant!

This was a present from my wife; I along with 2 friends we became 10 year old boys again, but playing with real tanks and shooting at real targets. An absolute must for your bucket list!
The museum has a huge collection of memorabilia and is well worth an hour or so to wonder round.
Check your weather forecast, we visited in October - spectators will need to wrap up, it's a bit blowy! And warm footwear.

I took my teen son for the air rifle experience, he loved every minute. The instructor was lovely.

We then attended the museum afterwards, it’s not huge, but big enough for my war history obsessed son. After that we stopped at the little cafe at the end for snacks, where we were able to sit outside and watch some tanks driving around.

All the staff were lovely and we had a great day. Great for teens, would recommend booking an activity as well, then you get free access to museum.
