The small village of Dornie has limited choice where to eat and drink. The Clachan Bar is one of two village pubs and offers typical Scots drink. The food menu is limited. Be prepared to wait for service, but its worth it.

We thought we'd give this a try as the Hotel just along the road had run out of real ale! Unfortunately, the Clachan had run out too (it was a Tuesday and their delivery is on Wednesday). Not a massive menu but adequate choices for...More

Nice dinner here, small but sufficient menu. Efficient and friendly service. Our little 2 year old girl loved her soup.

Warm welcome. Great food served by friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. If pub wasn't so far from home (3 hour drive) I'd gladly make The Clachan my local.

Traditional Scottish food. Cooked well and served quickly. Great place to stop for a quick bite or a pint.

We both (my boyfriend and I) had a great evening there. His burger (especially the homemade whiskysauce) and my mushroompasta were delicious. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in this typical Scotish pub.
