Beautiful, old wooden shrine. It's worth a visit during the day but really comes into its own on the night of March 3rd each year when it holds its annual festival. Men in loin cloths (fortified against the cold with generous portions of the famous local sake) try to force their way into a small opening inside the temple. It's... More

the shrine was very quite not so many things to see here but, in this Urasa town, i believe you should go there.

I still don't know what is the difference between temple and shrine, both of them is already old and antique. Many big trees around it and so quiet place . Behind this shrine you can find an onsen, but I forgot the onsen's name
