微かに残る野寺の風景

新座市野寺という地名にある満行寺。
野寺の鐘で有名な古刹である。
寺院周辺は僅かに野寺の風景が残っているが、住宅開発が激しく風前の灯である。
境内には野草が植えられている。季節ごとの花を楽しめるのではと感じる。

鐘が有名だというふうに聞いてきました。確かに、風情はありますが、それほどの規模でもなく、町にある、普通のお寺という感じです。

【武蔵野の野寺の鐘の聲聞けば遠近（おちこち）人ぞ道急ぐらん】在原業平
【音に聞く野寺を問えば跡ふりてこたふる鐘もなき夕哉】准后道興
の古歌が残されています。
