We went there during autumn season, it was cold, windy and rain for a few minutes, we went all the way to kubekadaira. But all I can say is, It was worth the trip.

1.20 minutes ride on tourist train" tarokko kurobe kyoukoku" is a must for everyone who loves nature.it's quite easy and comfortable ride but cold , be prepared with warm cloths/ scraves and maybe gloves.

Well worth the effort to get there. Book early to get decent rooms in Unazuki Onsen. It is a little tourist village with a few good places to eat.

I was there last month and took the gorge train from Unazaki to Keyakidaira which is the end tracks. I don't think you can drive to Keyakidaira as I did not see any cars or roads here. You have to travel here on the gorge... More
