Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is one of the most beautiful postcard- worthy mosques. Even if you don't go inside, you can stop by for a quick photo.

The mosque is very unique and attractive. The architecture is simply amazing, design looks like the Taj Mahal. Apart from that, the surrounding was very peaceful, greenery. No worries about the parking since it's a open car park around the mosque. During my visit, I just managed to take photos from outside since I couldn't enter the mosque. Visitors should wear appropriate attire to enter the mosques. But during this Covid-19 pandemic, outside people are not allowed to enter the mosque. Basically, i would highly recommend visitors to visit this beautiful mosque !!!

Considered one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia, it was also designed by the same designer who designed the Ipoh Railway Station and also the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. Construction of this beautiful mosque was completed in 1917.

What we feel makes this mosque unique is the contrast of the mosque with its golden domes and Italian marble against the blue sky especially on a sunny day like the day we visited. Parking is aplenty with an open carpark directly in front of the mosque.

Stunningly beautiful mosque from the outside. Unfortunately it was not open, even during visiting hours. Wondering if this is due to COVID-19. No signs or indication of why. We managed to get some photos of the outside though. Worth seeing if in the area.

Designed by a British architect, Arthur Hubback and built in 1910s this masjid looks incredibly dramatic in real life. Nothing like in the picture. So, it is something that you must see yourself. Its giant golden shinning dome caught our attention from afar. The design looks very much similar to Indo-Gothic or classic Indian style. You can also find other heritage monuments nearby such as the Royal Perak Museum, all located at Bukit Chandan, about 3km from the royal town Kuala Kangsar. They provide robes for visitors to enter the mosque; or as long as you cover your hair and wear appropriate long clothing that cover your body, that would be fine. Inside, it was really peaceful and serene. We were lucky to had a chance to witness an 'akad nikah' (marriage solemnization) in the mosque. For us, it is worth driving for hours in hot weather to witness this beauty. We're just glad.

This was the purpose of our visit to Kuala Kangsar, and it was very much worth it. Beautiful. Kuala Kangsar proved to be a really lovely place, in general, and would highly recommend a visit.

This is the first time I ever visited a mosque in my life. My guide who wanted to pray took me there. It has an octagon shaped dorm in the main prayer hall. The male prayer area is separated from female prayer area by a screen. The main prayer rectangular structure is supposed to be in the direction of Meka. They will provide you with a hoodie type of wear to cover your head while entering the mosque.
