Disappointed xmas meal.

First of all I'd like to say what an absolute rubbish meal we had for the price,zero vegetables at £85 each I at least expected some vegetables and extra gravy ,staff looked miserable and glum .supposed to be an all inclusive free bar with selected house beers and spirits ,only drink that was within the price was fosters I won't drink that piss water.as for the dj very rude indeed ,one of my colleagues asked for some Xmas songs and was laughed at ,HOW RUDE totally unacceptable. would we go here again ,absolutely no.

85 pounds each , the food was not up to standard , we had a wetherspoons Christmas dinner the Sunday before which was much better at 12 pounds , staff looked miserable, and most drinks were not free , I wouldn't recommend this for a Christmas work party meal , d j was a joke we had to ask for some christmas songs and she laughed at us , we will never go there again

Our daughter's wedding

OMG we had the best time. Our daughter got married at SBM on Sunday. The venue was wonderful. We took the dry hire package but we were looked after so well by Tina the wedding planner and Vicky in accommodation. The venue was spotless. We cannot fault it.

We had the stable block accommodation and the rooms were absolutely beautiful.

I do have one criticism and they should have a bridal dressing room. I understand there is one in the house you can hire, but we didn't have the budget for this. If you turned Room 23 into a bridal room and not charge an additional £500 for it but add the £500 in your dry hire package it would amazing for Brides and all the girls to get ready.

Thank you Stock Brook Manor for a moat fantastic day. I wouldn't hesitate recommending you. Laura and Family xxx

Lovelly venue but very poor customer care.

We had our daughters wedding there. The event and location was absolutely fantastic but the venue organiaation less so.

We were not told how to get in to the complimentary room or to collect the key beforehand so after the wedding there was no one around to let us in or provide a key. No one answered the emergency phone line. We had to give up and drive home at 2 am!! We are Still waiting for an explanation or apology.

We booked the venue as we specifically asked if Confetti was OK and were told yes. On the night we were asked to pay the staff £50 cash each to clear up as Confetti was not allowed! I refused, as this is not legal, and didn't have any cash with me anyway!

The in house wedding organiser was pointless and had no idea what we had booked or agreed to in the contract and stated the opposite. We had to engage our own planneras our Pre meet with her left us very worried.

The place is lovelly and the hall just right but the organisation and customer care appalling.

I complained and everything I have stated is in writing to the management and no one ever got back to me despite numerous chasing email saying that they would. They may reply after seeing this but the time has passed.

Book it, but beware.

We attended my cousins wedding here at the weekend and it was absolutely fabulous, the decor was amazing and took your breath away, the staff were attentive smart and worked very hard. The food was amazing.

We stayed 2 nights in the stables which were lovely, decorated to a very high standard and everything you could need was there.

Stock Brook is a very beautiful place with every amenity catered for, the grounds were stunning.

Amazing place……

I was invited to this country club to play golf on the Friday and to a wedding on the Saturday, Iv got to say I was very impressed.
For the golf we was welcomed with an artillery as we entered the door, it was well organised, the course was fantastic it’s well kept the greens are fast and a bit tricky.
After the golf I had a look around the facilities are great they cater for everyone, if I lived closer I’d definitely become a member!

The wedding on the Saturday….
again I can’t say enough about the venue the views of the golf course while sipping on Pimm’s in 30 degrees heat what’s not to love.
The staff immaculately dressed and catered for everyones needs, the food was to die for, top quality.

Great place will definitely go back.

A wonderful wedding at a marvellous location

We spent two nights in the stable rooms, which were very comfortable. We were there for my son’s wedding so we had all the groomsmen and bridesmaid’s staying with us, together with the. bride’s immediate family. We had a lot of fun and on the day we had a civil ceremony and reception in the main building.

The facilities were very good and because of the good weather we were able to use the grounds for photos.

The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. We had a lot of positive feedback from our guests and a special thanks to Tina our wedding planner. She made sure everything went to plan.

If you’re looking for a beautiful venue, maybe a few rounds of golf and accommodation, then look no further. Oh and I loved the private breakfast room and full English! It’s 5 stars from us 👍
