We have just returned from a really lovely stay in the clearview chalet at Holgan farm fisheries, the young guy Scott who welcomed us was so helpful, the place was so clean and modern and we all slept really well in the very comfortable beds,we went out every day to visit the gorgeous surrounding areas and despite it raining alot we still enjoyed our days out knowing we were going back to unwind in such lovely accommodation. Would recommend this little haven to anyone.

Took my son for his first time course fishing, we hired kit and just my son fished so I could watch and help him cost £28 for everything which I thought was a bit pricey at the start but it was well worth the money, stunning location caught loads and Ian even come and helped my son and showed him what to do, great day out, would highly recommend, will definitely be going back. Thanks

When I visited here 10 years ago the staff/owners bent over backwards to accommodate you. NOW... they make you feel like your a burden and very unwelcome. Rude bordering on aggressive tactics to get you to buy the tat from their shop which they insist you can’t catch without half emptying the place at a fair old cost compared to other shops. The second trip is most certainly my last.

My husband myself and my 2 brothers have just returned from a weeks fishing here, Scott welcomed us as soon as we arrived a very nice fella who is more than willing to help and answer any questions you have. We stayed in the clearview accomodation which was outstanding with beautiful views over the lakes, a beautiful sight to behold. The fishing was amazing, too many fish to keep count and we fished all three lakes and the river. What made our holiday was Ian Heaps himself and his lovely companian Tia, we can't say things nice enough about this Gentleman he's a beautiful human being with time for everyone. We loved it so much we have booked to go back in June and also booking for september, if you love fishing with a warm and welcoming atmosphere book now you'll love it.
