Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What's not to like? Well designed, interesting, fun and welcoming to all. Loved the special considerations made for the youngest visitors and of course having a friendly coffee shop and book shops on the same site is definitely a bonus 😀

We've been visiting Narberth for a number of years, but had never visited the museum, so this time we made sure we did.
Well laid out, very informative and we a lovely little cafe and book shop, with both new and 2nd hand books. Worth a visit if you're in the area and suitable for children!!

Looking for something to do indoors to get out of the wind and found this gem of a place just 20 minutes from Tenby. The staff were welcoming and so proud and enthusiastic about their museum. The exhibits were fascinating and kept us all (including two boy teens) engaged. What makes the place extra special was the wide range of new and second hand books and coffee shop. (You don't have to go to the museum to browse the books and have a cuppa.)

To be honest dropped in on a wet day to get out of the rain. However it would have been our loss had we not dropped in. Excellent variety of exhibits displayed in an interesting sequence. Really well worth the very inexpensive entry price. Our family ages ranged for 5 to 68 and all had a great few hours.

Go down a side street and follow the signs - well worth it. Fascinating insight into aspects of Carmarthen life - a short film show and several interactive opportunities. Plenty of objects on display and clearly presented both in English and Welsh. There’s a small shop and cafe plus beautifully clean toilets ! You will spend a very iinteresting hour here - I would thoroughly recommend and very pleasant , helpful staff !

This is a lovely informative museum tucked away off Narberth High Street. Great little coffee shop and plenty of goodies in the main shop to browse and buy. They also have a large selection of high quality second hand books to purchase. A must go to little museum while visiting Narberth

A good balance of interactive and displays of information all relevant to the local town and area. Worth the entrance fee, took around an hour to look round with a nice shop and cafe if wish to stay longer.

Small independent museum that is very interesting. The museum is down a side street and is upstairs with a library on the ground floor. A lot to see of the local area with good explanations. The history of the area is explained

I know it’s a cliché, but I can only describe the Narberth Museum as a hidden gem. We were very lucky to stumble across it (I would suggest positioning a wooden sandwich board at the end of Picton Place). The museum has been very well designed and thought out and gives a fascinating insight into the history of the town and this part of Wales. The kind lady working on the day we visited not only listened to me drone on about family who had lived in and around Narberth but also managed to turn up some relevant photos and other information. She was so friendly and generous with her time. There’s also an excellent selection of new and second-hand books and a lovely little cafe and we bought some wonderful local marmalade in the gift shop. An excellent and informative way to spend an afternoon. Great for all ages and well worth a visit.
