I didn't expect much, but we went to see this famous well as part of our visit to Ako. My 4-year-old son was fascinated with how it worked, and played with the pulley system for a long time, and even went back a few hours...More

The Well represents a monument to the waterworks which was built in Ako. It also is a clock which chimes on the hour and shows a scene of the 47 ronin. There is a sign in english which recounts the story quickly
