If you want to see Astroboy and Ultraman you have to pay 700¥ for it. Its a 1500 steps walk from the train station. They have free stamps where you can put on a pad as souvenir.

Enjoyed this place with so much fun animation history dedicated to Osamu Tezuka. I'm glad I got to go with a group of locals who helped with translation!

This Museum gives you a 20+ years rollback you will be able to see his life and some of his items like his glasses, some storyboards, etc... Upstairs, there's a temporary exhibition that is based on Tezuka's works the only bad point is that noone...More

The entire museum is dedicated to Osamu Tezuka, "the god of manga" and they've added a lot of decorations and architecture for his various works. So, even without English signs (though we got a little folder with a floor plan) there's things to look at...More

If you are very fond of manga, the museum is worth a detour, otherwise not. Especially harms the confrontation with the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. Anyway, it is at walking distance from Takarazuka railways stations (both JR and Kintetsu).
