The purpose was, of course, the octopus crackers. There are parking lots around the factory, so I don't think you'll have any trouble parking. When you enter the factory (store), you can smell the crackers... and there are many different kinds of octopus crackers. I didn't know there were so many kinds of octopus crackers. That's where the tasting corner comes in handy. First, pick up the crackers you want to try, then taste them. People like me who have small hearts tend to pick up many different kinds of crackers. The tasting is free, so... but by the time we got to the taste... I couldn't even tell which cracker was which (crying). My wife stopped at about four kinds. It's better to narrow down your choices and try them first.

A decent rest stop (with free coffee!) on an all-day bus tour, on our way elsewhere. I'd recommend the (unexpected) tomato-basil flavored ones.

We stopped here after visiting the shrine. Interesting place as they make various flavored rice crackers that you can try/taste and buy if you wish. Free coffee, nice clean tables and friendly staff. But the very best aspect of this place are the bathrooms, which are excellent!
