天守台から見える立派な建物なので行ってみた。日露戦争戦勝記念に建った建物で元は図書館、今は教室として使われている。城と歴史は一致しないが、歴史ある建物で、城趾内によくマッチしている。中の見学は土日に限られている。外観が素敵で中も見たかった。

日露戦争の戦勝記念で県庁の近くに立てられた図書館だった建物がこの場所に移築されたものです。立派な建物なので見ごたえがあります。

1908年に奈良公園内に建てられた奈良県最初の県立図書館の本館が、1968年に大和郡山市の郡山城内に移築されたものです。レトロでかつ立派な外観の建物が目を惹きます。平日は学校として使われているので、授業がない休日に内部に入って見たり、説明を聞いたりできます。郡山城に関する展示物があり、説明も聞けます。

非常にカッコいい和風の建物ですが、普段は研修目的でしか立ち入ることができないようで、中を無ることができなくて残念だった。

郡山城跡の展望台から一番目立つ建物。入れるらしいということで行ってみた。由緒ある建物で、こうして保存されて学習支援室として活用されていることが素晴らしい。2階は耐震工事していないので、観光客は立ち入りできない。

遠くから見るとお城と間違いしそうな建物です。傍によると旧奈良県立博物館の看板が、現在は城址会館という名に変えて使用されているようです。説明板で内部を説明されても見学出来ないのであれば分かりませんので困惑します。お城と期待させておいて、違うということで普通から〇一つ引いておきます。

郡山城跡と言いますが、ここに来ると「お城がある」と思いましたが、このお城のような立派な建築物が城址会館です。この郡山城は、柳沢15万石の城下町として繁栄しました。その栄華を語り継ぐにふさわしい華麗なる建築物です。

大和郡山城の城内にある古い大きな建物。説明板によれば、旧奈良県立図書館で、明治41年建築の歴史的建築物。もともとは奈良公園にあったとのこと。平日は学習施設として使われ、土日のみ内部見学可能とのことです。中に入ると大和郡山城の模型がおいてあり、係の方が大和郡山城について詳しく説明してくださいました。

近くから見ても遠くから見ても、どちらも趣のある
建物で、郡山城址と一緒に楽しみたいスポットです。
桜の時期は、また見ごたえがありました。
