Kirishima Onsenkyo's Central Park is located near Maruo intersection.
You can easily enjoy foot baths and hot spring eggs.
There is also a wide selection of local specialties, so it's a must-see to stop by and take a break before heading to the hot springs or hotel.

Located in the center of the Kirishima Onsen area, this complex includes a tourist information center, foot baths, and souvenir and dining options. Unfortunately, the tourist information center on the second floor was closed on the Tuesday we visited, but we noticed steam coming out of the square from the "Hot Spring Steamed Food Vendor." As the hot spring manju were sold out, we bought some sweet potatoes and ate them, which were so sweet! They were also moist and delicious. They also had hot spring eggs, sweet corn, and fried mochi.
It's a convenient stop-off spot to use as a base for sightseeing in Kirishima.

公共交通利用の場合には、丸尾バス停の目前に立地しており、バス待ちの際にも利用できます。
韓国岳登山を終え、霧島神宮へ移動するバス待ちの間に利用しました。
私は温泉で蒸した野菜、卵が目に付きました。
値段も手頃だったので「温泉たまご」を買って食べましたが、普通に美味しかったです。

お土産もの売り場で鹿児島うなぎのおこわ弁当が450円で売ってたので思わずゲット！美味しかったです！温泉で蒸したトウモロコシが甘くて美味しい。ウィンナーもほっこりして格別に味でした。温泉卵も販売していましたが、茹で卵状態に。コロナの影響で売れ残ったんでしょうか？販売のお姉さんに「温泉卵じゃないよー！茹で卵だよー」って言ったら「温泉で茹でたから温泉卵〜」とやり込められました(笑)足湯も良かったです！

2階建の建物で、１階に土産物屋があります。地元ならではの食物が多いほか、首都圏では高値の干しシイタケなども安く売られていて、ありがたく利用させてもらいました。広場では足湯のほか、温泉饅頭も売られていて、ヨモギ味のムラサキイモの餡がこれまた新鮮でした。

お土産はもちろん、手作りのお菓子などもありました。
手作りのものは値段も手頃で美味しかったです。
外で温泉で蒸した野菜などがあるのですが、お芋、トウモロコシ、お饅頭と食べましたがどれも美味しかったです。

This is a tourist facility in the center of Kirishima Onsen. The parking lot is small. There are souvenir shops, restaurants, and a foot bath. There is also a tourist information center here.
