Dedicated to ramen noodle cups, the museum showcases the mind-boggling number of instant ramen flavor variations that have come out over the years and a reproduction of the hut where Momofuku Ando first created them.

A place where you can create your own instant noodles. The visit started out with display a variety of instant noodles, a excellent spot for photo taking. After which, for 300yen, you can purchase a instant noodle cup and you will be given colorful markers to design your one-and-only cup design. Once you are done designing your cup, you will... More

A nice easy walk from JR ikeda station to Ramen Museum-if lost simply ask any local, they will be very willing to help out in directing you. Upon entry, greet by different languages guide (english, mandarin etc). The mandarin translator guide had done more than her role as she had remember and when looking for us in the museum. As... It is a little out of the way and it is not very big, so it can be completed in less than an hour but this museum is a lot of fund and should definitely be on everyone's to-do list in Osaka. Entry is free and there are also free English translations for the two films (2,000 yen deposit is... More

If you have time, I recommend that you make a reservation (online) to make the original chicken noodle package, instead of only the cup ramen (this you can do without a reservation.) The original chicken ramen process starts making noodle from flour and you can create your own package design. I do not recommend this chicken noodle process with young... More

We reached the museum around 330pm and the staff were kind enough to accommodate us. Five star for the service. For a mere 300 yen, we had a great time designing our own cup for our noodles. Then a short queue to select our very own ingredient for our cup noodles. Finally a great cushioned carrying bag for our very... More

For a mere 300 yen, you can design your own ramen cup and choose the ingredient inside. Just remember if you want to learn how to make the noodles, a few months prior reservation is required. The cup one can be anytime and is instantaneous .

Simply fascinating to see so many boxes of ramen on display. It is amazing what our Japanese host can do and innovate. It is great to watch the school children making their own cup of ramen. No wonder this is the land of ramen👍🇯🇵.

It's a must go in Osaka for all instant noodle lovers.. you can design your own instant noodle but be sure you have a backpack to have this in your bag because after making your own cup noodles, it will be in an airbag to protect it and it hinder us shopping.. It has a small area that allows u... More

An afternoon well spent in this museum! Lots of staff stand by at the entrance and they can speak different language~ One staff who speaks Mandarin came greet us with friendly smile. We only noticed at that time that it has another class which takes reservation only - making instant ramen! So if you are going with kids, please do... More

As well as being the city that invented conveyor belt sushi, Osaka is also where instant cup noodles all began. So if you're looking for something completely different from temples, castles and shopping, then this is a wacky place to visit. Time permitting you can design your own noodle combo and cup packaging and there's even a noodle workshop on... More
