If you are interested in folk art, you must go and see. There seemed to be no permanent display. So, displayed items depend on the special exhibition. When I visited, the special exhibition was "Folk crafts of India". So, most of the displays were Indian. As I wanted to see Japanese folk craft, it was so against my expectation. However,... More

This museum is in a large park that was created for the 1970 expo in Osaka. It is to the north of the city, so if you are staying in the city centre it is a bit out of the way. However, if you are not rushed, I would recommend it. You can have a wander around the park afterwards,... More
