Tripadvisorβs approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The building sits nicely on its site. It is said to be the oldest existing railroad station building in the country.
We were here for autumn foliage and the trees in front of the building were at peak.
It is tricky crossing the street, but some of the best shots of the whole building need to be taken from the other side of the road in front of the entrance to Keiunkan state guest house, which has a nice garden for strolling after visiting the railway building.

A small, but very well set-out museum. Being a steam train enthusiast, we took our time to check-out the exhibits.

The building and the trains inside are very beautiful and interesting. But if you can not read Japanese Language it will be boring.

This is the oldest surviving station building in Japan, a two-story Western-style building built in 1882 to imitate the Shinbashi Station of the time. There are many exhibits inside, making it a great spot for railway fans!
