another interesting temple stay at the top of rock. that also important place for japanese god. the story is interesting. but time issue, we can't visit here at sunset time but well enough for taking picture & stay here half hour. some Japanese taking water...More

This place is the best at the sunset.

Probably not the best for swimming here.
Enjoy the romantic and sacred evening scenery.

Took the grandkids here to fly kites. We did a lot of beach combing. Soft sand, clear water, and lots of sea shells. We had the beach nearly to ourselves. The locals were all at the shrine across the street.
If you decide to go izumo taisha, please go this beach before it.you take some sand to taisha and they will change it to clear sand which has a power of amulet. you throw it to your garden.
We arrived at our inn directly across from the beach so strolled down there to watch the sunset. They were a few locals walking dogs and a few tourists enjoying the beautiful views as the sun went down.
