Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful estate, but by far the most impersonal wine tasting we ever had. A group of 20 people were ushered into a room, and then the guide poured the five wines, spoke a little bit about it, and after 20 minutes it was all over. The wines were not even that bad (albeit not great), the guide was nice and knowledgeable, but the programme was so standardized that he had no choice. We were not even offered water, which also was a first for us during a tasting. So if you are looking for more than just a nice scenery then pass on this one, it's not worth it.

Unprofessional arrogant staff. Waited over 45 mins for a table. Finally gave us a table in a corner facing a crumbling wall after refusing that we could sit at the empty table next to it by a window. Plus there were two tables for 2 outside which were empty. We decided to leave with such an attitude. The wines are average at best. Both the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay were sub par. Very disappointing experience.

Always a pleasant and fun experience. We love coming down to this vineyard specially because it’s just 1 hour away from Santiago. They have updated the menu, which is much better for those looking for other things than red meat (my wife) and have a new desert which is insane. I recommend 100%!!!!

Nice little tour with Corrina, she was engaging and answered all our questions. Little look around, then on to the wine tasting. She explained each really well, took us through what they could pair with etc. I'm not an expert but to me it felt like an enjoyable trip.

This is a large industrial winery with a very pretty mise en scene but not much more. As they say in Spanish, mucho continente para poco contenido'. The restaurant is pretty good, but the wines - even their top tier - while decent I personally found uninspiring, as is their tour which was carried our by a boring looking bearded guy. One of the most extraordinary aspects for me is their choice of music. When one gets out of the big city into this beautiful valley, I at least would like, bucolic, etheral, relaxing music - if any. What they had-on in the pretty wine store was terrible, loud american pop. Utterly out of context. Really clueless...

Our hotel set us up with a private guide who brought us to several wineries in the Casa Blanca Valley, and this was definitely our favorite. The setting was picturesque and the tour was great. The tasting room was probably the prettiest one I’ve ever seen, and we really enjoyed the wine. I think their Syrah was my favorite. We weren’t able to stay, but they have two restaurants that we wished we could have tried. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

The set of Casas del Bosque is impecable. The house, the gardens, the vineyards all melt together in a wonderful gift to your eyes.
The food is excellent with great variety and better preparation. Presented in plates matching the food you're eating it all goes fast.
We had the tasting menu but ordered their high end wine (Syrah cut with Pinot Noir) 2014 Private Reserve. Wonderful. Totally a must if you have a day to spare in Santiago.

Chris was a fantastic wine educator. Witty, excellent colloquial English and a lot of fun to taste wine with. We really enjoyed our time there.

My friend Alexa and I had such a wonderful time exploring Casas Del Bosque. The vibe of the restaurant and attached winery is that of an upscale and refined polo lounge. Everyone is well dressed, well mannered, and eager to assist. Our lunch had the most gorgeous presentation, and the taste was that of any upscale Beverly Hills restaurant. Such great quality! Our wine tour and tasting was led by Connie. She has the best personality, very eager to answer any questions, and really knows her information! Her English was perfect! This place is definitely a must if you’re looking to get in a couple wineries during your stay in Chile.

Even though we went to this place as part of a set tour, we had a great lunch and wine tasting experience. No doubt the place is first class and the facilities are second to none. Like, the service is quite helpful and attentive.
