Our tour and tasting at Emiliana was fantastic. It's different from what I'm used to in California; you must make a reservation in advance, and it's somewhat more expensive, but our guide gave us a extensive personal tour, and a guided personal wine tasting of...More

What a beautiful, unique winery! It was founded in 1986 by the Guilisasti family of Concha y Toro (Emiliana is run totally separate). With 2,760 acres, it is recognized as the world’s largest organic and biodynamic winery. We enjoyed the educational wine tour that describes...More

In many respects it was an interesting tour but when asked about the cost of producing organic wine v normal wine the guide became aggressive and cocky not a pleasant experience. Also with the wine tasting very small measures particularly of the more expensive wines...More

We were touring the Casablanca Valley and Emiliana was one of our stops. As noted in by the name, the vineyards are organic and wandering around through the grapevines are roosters and chickens that help control pests. There was also a pen of alpacas who...More

We've been travelling for over a year out of our backpacks. Since we were in Chile, in wine country, we decided to visit a couple wineries. If I were at home, I'd dress really nicely for a winery tour, but sadly I only have minimal...More

Although I was unable to tour this vineyard, I was impressed by the landscaping, architecture, and chickens (to eliminate pests). The employees were knowledgeable. I hope to tour the vineyard on my next visit. (I was unable due to the group decision)

Beautiful vineyard in Chile. I love their concept/philosophy. All animals look like they are cared for well. Employees are happy and enthusiastic. Last but not least- wines are delicious and ORGANIC!

We came just for the tasting, but as an earlier tour was ending, they suggested that we join the group for the explanation of the wines. It was a good recommendation. Wilson was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the wines, and it added to the...More
