- Marilyn N182 contributionsAmazing wine tasting menu and staffWe went without booking which was no problem. Decided to have the 6 course tasting menu. We don’t eat meat and were easily accommodated. Our waiter Ignacio was amazing as was the sommelier. The food was brilliant and the wine excellent I’m not a red wine drinker but the Pinot noir was lovely. We had got a Uber to the restaurant but they don’t collect. We had no cash for a taxi but Ignacio sorted it all out beautifully we we very grateful to him. It’s a great experience a lovely environment if you are near give it a shot.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 October 2023
- Steven KStillwater, Oklahoma12 contributionsWe loved it! Simply splendid! This place is wonderful! We came through Casablanca on our way to Vina Del Mar, took the tour and had a late lunch. It was beautiful, the people are wonderful, and our guide Maria was a delight. On top of that the food was amazing and their wine is superb. I came away from the experience with a new appreciation for the process and the product. I would recommend the tour, a meal, or stopping to get an incredible bottle of wine cheaper than you will anywhere else.Visited November 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 11 November 2023
- BasketballMamaMalibu, California235 contributionsDelicious Italian fare in the vineyardsLunch at Botanico, the restaurant at Vina Casas del Bosque. Beautiful setting, food was Italian. Started with onion foccacia with olive oil and deep fried zucchini chips. Ordered the burrata and prosciutto pizza with truffle oil, garden vegetable salad and a pesto fettuccini- delicious! We topped it off with the Chardonnay from the house label from the vineyard - I highly recommend!Visited March 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 14 March 2024

Casas del Bosque is really beautiful. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience because they do not honor reservations and were extremely rude to us about it. We called 1 week in advance to reserve a tour and lunch.
1. We had reserved the English tour at 12pm.They told us they only had space at 3pm. After a bit of discussion they "allowed" us space in the 12pm.
2. We had reserved lunch at 2pm, the hostess was extremely rude and said she didn't have our reservation and that they were full because there were lots of tourist buses arriving. Curiously, the people behind us had the same problem, their reservation wasn't there either. I saw in the comments book that this was happening to other people too.
Clearly big problem with Reservations!
Main message for Casas del Bosque: Please honor the reservations, that's why we make them days in advance. Since you clearly have issues organizing the reservations, at least be gracious and nice about it, not rude.

Visiting this family owned winery reminded me of the early days in Napa. The grounds, winery and attached restaurant are striking. Our group had a tour and tasting of 3 wines which were very good. The award winning restaurant serves paired meals and I wish we had been able to at least sample some of the food as it looked wonderful and the outside seating very relaxing. Could easily spend an afternoon here.

On 01/11/24, we were at the Casas del Bosque winery, in Casablanca, close to Santiago, on the recommendation of the Chile Experience agency.
At around 1:30 pm, after a tasting, we went to the winery's restaurant (Tanino), where we had a reservation for a harmonized lunch.
Although there were several empty tables on the balcony (outdoors, overlooking the vineyards), they wanted to place us at a table inside the restaurant.
We did not accept, as we had made the reservation in advance from Brazil to have a complete experience.
We were then informed that all tables were reserved and that we would have to wait until 4pm to sit on the balcony.
We then stayed at the reception, waiting for our turn.
To our surprise, a group of North American tourists arrived at the reception and were asked if they preferred to sit on the balcony or inside the restaurant.
Outraged, we questioned the receptionist, who informed us that they would have a reservation for the balcony, which did not convince us, as they were surprised to be asked where they would like to sit.
After much complaining, they placed us at a table on the balcony, but the experience had already been ruined by the prejudice and wear and tear we suffered.
It is worth mentioning that, throughout lunch, some of the tables on the balcony that were supposedly "reserved" remained empty.
Anyway, we don't recommend visiting the winery, but if you want to go, it's best to arrive speaking English with an attitude like you own the world.

This is one of the larger and more popular wineries in the valley. It’s in a beautiful setting with a bar and restaurant (we didn’t realise the restaurant Tonino only offered a 5 course tasting menu snd so didn’t have time to stay for lunch).
We only did a tasting not a tour but our guide Connie was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Definitely one to visit along side some of the smaller wineries (such as Bodegas RE and Casa Marin)

Second time here. Of course the wines are top notch. I must say that the service and attention to tourists leaves a lot to improve. We took a tour without a tasting, but the guide told us that you could still try up to two drinks in the store and to talk to the store attendants. They spent 30 minutes “playing around with us” those from the store said that they “were collapsed” that they were not authorized” to serve. What did we expect? One of the guides passed by, very busy, and said that "he couldn't do anything". Finally we left without trying what corresponded to us. I overheard a tourist who had a tour planned, and she was walking with suitcases to go to the airport afterwards and asked for help where to leave them... to which the staff only responded "we are not authorized" "we do not have custody", etc.
In summary, excessive rigidity, they do not have the capacity to make the service more flexible or adapt to make it comfortable and welcoming for the visitor. This type of behavior and attitude of “I don't know, I can't help you” and then get rid o the client with “deal with it”, attitude, is very unpleasant to experience and is not seen in other countries. Aspects to improve.

Beautiful winery with elegant surroundings and well kept grounds. We had a lovely tour with kind and very knowledgeable Chris who also organised the wine maker for a day of experience with us.
Outstanding wines presented to personally blend and taste against the backdrop of their natural environment provided an extra dimension to this excellent and unique experience. To able to create your own distinctive cuvée leaves a lovely and lasting impression.
We completed the beautiful experience with a picnic in the vineyard. Enjoying the food and wine within the stillness of the vines and the caressing breeze was heavenly.
Highly recommended

On our way to Valparaiso, we decided to stop on a vineyard on casa blanca. The temperature was amazing, at least 10 degrees fresher than Santiago. The place is beautiful, with a great restaurant and a launch area to taste the wines. The food on the restaurant was amazing and the service even better. Marcos, our server, very passionate was explaining everything in detail, recommending wines and also places in Valparaiso, that we actually tried and were amazing. The whole experience was really good, after lunch we did a wine tasting tour and the we chilled at the launch area, it was a whole wonderful experience. Thank you Marcos for the great service and also the host girl on the restaurant who manage to accommodate a table for us even though it was very busy and we didn’t have a reservation.

We booked the self guided bike tour. My bike broke down at the far reaches of the vineyard as soon as I reached the first hill. Third gear was fine but as soon as I went into first gear, the chain slipped off and I C realized the teeth were bent inward. I tried to fix it but was unable to. There was tons of caked oil and dirt throughout the cassette and chain and it was obvious the bike hadn’t been cleaned or serviced in a long time. I had to walk back to the winery. I asked for a partial refund but the agent said he had sent me off “with a working bike and you brought me back a bike that needs to be fixed.” For a winery that wants to be of this caliber and is this expensive, customer service should be paramount. He essentially blamed me, saying that I broke his bike.
We ate lunch at Tanino which had very good food but is quite expensive. The grounds and winery were beautiful, but there were a constant stream of tour buses and tours. We got the burrata and tortellini which are both pictured.

We took the Premium Wine Trap tour and the truth is that Premium had nothing.
The vineyard was all dripping wet, people working with hoses while we walked, which was very uncomfortable.
As well as all the tours simultaneously, so the audiences mixed.
Then, in the tasting of the 5 wines there were no cheeses, it was just the wine and that's it.
At lunch time there were no places either because there was a wedding, a mix of many things and many events in the same day, total chaos.
I recommend going to other wineries that serve much better, with more dedication and in a more personalized way like Emiliana.
