We visited here on a Sunday afternoon for a picnic and to let the kids play in the park. There's a £4 entry fee for the car which is fair enough. After the kids had played and we had our picnic we went on one of the walks, the Strangford walk, which takes you down past the Lough. The views... More

Really enjoyed this venue which consists of beautiful walks, grassy picnic areas, play area and even a small miniature train. The park itself is extensive and there are a number of walks you can take. It is £4 to park a car EXCEPT on a Wednesday if you enter before 11.00 am when it is free. There is a small... More

after travelling around the coast of Ireland, calling in at many camp sites, we decided to try here, when we arrived I was met by the staff, 4 in total and proceeded to enquire about availability. 2 adults, 2 kids 1 tent. I was told there was availability but needed to take 2 nights and that the cost was £89... More

We visited Delamont to have a picnic and go for a walk today. The park itself is very large and has lots of grassy areas to have picnics. There are a number of walks you can take around the country park which are fairly easy going! There is also a large play area for children. In the park there is... More

My husband and I took our two grandchildren here for the first time on Saturday. We were more than happy with the whole experience. The train ride was throughly enjoyed by all! Will definitely return. 😊

Good facilities provided for families, although not having kids I can't comment on the quality of these. There were great walks with magnificent views over the lough and surrounding islands. The Information /visitor centre could do with a bit more work but the staff were very helpful and friendly. There is no coffee shop but plenty of picnic benches and... More

This park is a favorite of mine and my family, we love taking the long walk and seeing the wildlife and challenging ourselves on the outdoor gym equipment. Great walk for a picnic, and some fun, the park for the kids is a good size as well. The train is geared towards small kids, mine are 6 and 8 and... More
