Old worldly pub,offers mid week great pies and comfort food.Has an early bird menu in the evening which is really good value.Friday and Saturday nights the downstairs restaurant offers great seafood,and non fish dishes.Warm and cosy in the winter time.
So cheap, food was excellent and we couldn't finish the portions, the bill was so low we had to check everything was on it. We've eaten in fancy places but this place beats them hands down. Service and staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful.
Great atmosphere in the bar where banter and great guinness go hand in hand, good food with locally caught Strangford Lough langoustines and lobster if available, also top notch live acoustic music on a Saturday from 16:00
Order a burger from The Dufferin Arms...best I've tasted in a long long time. Its at the top of the town near beautiful Killyleagh Castle. Has one of those authentic old Irish bars and serves a great pint of Guiness.
Went with a friend for dinner on Sunday evening. I had the chicken and pepper sauce stack and can't remember when I enjoyed a meal as much. It was lovely. Waitresses were friendly and the pub had old world charm. Well worth a visit.
