We had a lovely walk, saw birds we have never seen, obtained a map from the shop, good path ways to walk on, ideal for every age. Shame it started to rain, so just did short walk , will defiantly be going back. Well worth a visit.

Attenborough nature reserve is great for an amble with the family. There are a number of hides dotted around the grounds to take in the wildlife. There is a small cafe and shop situated over the water. Prices are reasonable and offers a great view over the park. A perfect place to rest and enjoy the area.

great place to escape and get into nature. always events going on for the kiddies at half term, talks, photography lessons etc. Lots of information in the centre, lots of habitats and definitely attracts a great number of species to the area. What more could you ask for !

As regular visitors for over 30 years, Attenborough is always amazing, any time of the year. Especially interesting off-peak or in evening. There are at least 5 great circular walks. 1. Red route takes about 1 hour. 2. Red route with footpath shortcut past the high-hide is about 50 mins. 3. Blue walk is more challenging and takes 2 hours.... More

Lovely walk with lots for young children to do and find interesting. 3. 7 miles of interesting and differing views etc would recommend it. We didn't go into the visitor centre though.

You're in a highly urbanised area and then at the end of a lane in a wild place. What a wonderful way to use exhausted sand and gravel pits! Really enjoyed the visit. It certainly won't be the last because this place has to be seen over all the seasons as the birds come and go. The water birds are... More

good paths around the nature centre and all are close to the water so you can see the wild birds. The café sells bird food for 25p a bag. we also made use of a coule of the hides which are well sited and offer good views.

I have been visiting Attenborough since I was a child when my father use to take me there to feed the ducks. I have followed in my father footsteps and taken my son. If you are expecting playgrounds for the children to play on this is not the place for you. It is wonderful place to feed the ducks and... More
