Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I've seen the beaches of Phu Quoc as well as Da Nang bay, Hue, Hoi An, only really missing Mui Ne. But for untouched natural beauty free from crowds or development, Dam Trau is the bomb. There will be a hotel here before too long as the island is being upgraded in terms of infrastructure to receive more visitors. See it now.

First time going to a remote island but she is also beautiful. I started from Tran De wharf, took 2.5 hours to reach Con Dao. it's terrible. Big waves cause the boat to wobble. I was seasick and tired. But when I set foot on the island, I felt everything was worth it. Blue sea, white sand, fresh air. It's a small island with few people so I can fully enjoy this place. There are many animals on the island such as monkeys.

Enjoyed the beach. Nice long stretch to walk. Quiet without lots of people. Tho there is garbage along the stretch (as everywhere in Vietnam :-(

Best beach on Con Son. Why? Huge beach, max. 10 people there. And for me a big advantage. It offers places in the shadow.
The water is beautiful.
An old lady is selling drinks and coconuts.
Important. As for every beach on the island, keep and eye on the tide calendar. During high tide the beaches are not existing.

We had a small beach party there. Good place to swim and relax. In November there were no crowds. It is close to the airport.

If you have a scooter, this is an easy 20min ride from the city center and there’s plenty of parking when you arrive.

This beach was ok but definitely not what you would expect, especially due to the massive amount of garbage left by locals.

There are a few options to have a drink or a quick lunch by the beach.

Long, early morning walks at low tide so peaceful! Shell collecting good (even 'sand dollars'). Pity about the litter high up at the high-water level mark.

Beautiful, very quiet (when we was there), lovely soft sand and warm water. The restaurants have good food and cold drinks to enjoy while you sit on the deck chairs. Being close to the airport you get to see close up the planes as they come into land.

This amazing beach is about 20 minutes from the main town but it is definitely worth the drive. It is a very special place and the best beach I have seen in Vietnam.

sad that we were not able to help release the turtles, too many people was the reason given. but fun to watch them scurry over the beach and reach the water to swim away. our boat driver was very goos and took us to another island as well and provided snorkelling gear on the way back.
