If you are visiting or just passing through Ainsa, make sure that you visit the old town square. It is simply stunning and surrounded by bars that are in keeping with the location.

What a great place to visit in a sunny day. The views around the walls onto the valleys and mountains are espectacular.

The whole square is surrounded by restaurants, small shops, cafes etc. Mainly pedestrianised although some traffic allowed with a permit - short stay only. Beautifully preserved building. Watch out for the cobble stones.

Very nice old town on top of a hill.view from the town is ok. The old buildings (or rather renovated houses) are magnificent. Try to walk up from the newer part of Ainsa.

Didn't expect to see such a well preserved old town keeping everything traditional. Houses were named after the original owners from centuries ago.

We were there in March, so there wasn't a ton of people and activity. So we had the place to ourselves. Lots of cats, great views, not a ton of English!
