This is a fantastic beach but can be very crowded during the summer. Go early to get a good parking space!

Five of us went to Queensland Beach Provincial Park on a warm and sunny September day. It was crowded but we were able to find a parking space and a spot on the beach.

Definitely get here early or towels will be joined together, the water is cool around 16 degrees but nice on a sunny day. Sand is nice and the sound of the small waves relaxing. Lifeguards are on duty and there is a small outhouse and change rooms. Nice beAch to walk on in the evening when the crowds go. Worth... More

Small Beach across from Surfside Inn. Fairly busy during afternoon. Get there early. Water is chilly (Atlantic Ocean) and can have small waves. Don't think waves are big enough to surf but can impede swimming. Lots of sand!

This very small beach was very crowded on the day we visited. It was a nice place to cool off after Peggy's Cove.

Get here early on sunny days because the parking is limited!!beach offers change rooms and bathrooms as well as staffed lifeguards. Gentle surf and clean white sand awaits. Water Temps tend to be warmer than other beaches.

If you are traveling through eastern Nova Scotia, you MUST put Queensland Beach on your "must see beach list." It is nothing short of spectacular! Beautiful soft sand and crisp, clear turquoise-y blue water! Do not be deterred by the the water temp. It's on the colder side but is quite refreshing after being in the sun. We chatted with...
