- Snowy87Warwick3 contributionsA very expensive soft playThe soft play is excellent, however everything else is rather run down and in need of updating/repair. Visited as a family of 5 (children aged 7,5 and 0), and spent the majority of our time in the soft play as there wasn’t much else to entertain. Only a few animals in small pens in a barn, tractor rides not available, a sand play area with hardly any sand and no buckets/spades, the fire engine a complete hazard. Food and drink is ridiculously priced, and service is really slow so I would bring your own food and drink. Very disappointed and felt like I had been robbed of £40 (and £7 for two hot drinks!). All in all a very expensive soft play experience.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 2 January 2023
- Lisa S2 contributionsA fab family day outOverall a fabulous day out. Great fun for all the family! However on the day that we visited the food service was slow and extremely busy/noisy. We waited over 35 minutes for 2 pulled pork baps and 2 kids sausage and bean meals that were quite disappointing. Apart from that a very enjoyable day.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 6 April 2023
- Dpbrad7411 contributionsOverall a good time had by allEnjoyed the whole day. Lots for the kids to do indoors and outdoors. Weather was cloudy but didn't spoil the foam party. The restaurant needs to be a little bit better organised. Whether it's self clean or not people still need the tables wiped from time to time and the throughput was vast so needed to be kept on top of. Not many animals outside to look at and the sound quality on the tractor ride needs to improve else it's just a girl talking to herself.Visited May 2023Travelled with familyWritten 12 June 2023
- 92SP5 contributionsGreat little day out!!My friend and I wanted something to do with our children (3 children between us aged 6, 6 & 7 - with 1 being autistic) and this farm is honestly such a fun day out, we were the last to leave!! We got a good 5 and a half hours out of this place. We took our own picnic - there's loads of benches! There's a few things that need a bit of a spruce up and that's a bit dated but you get that with most places over time. We kept getting lost as there's no sign posts to say where you are or where the next place is so make sure you have your map! The kids have said it was the best day ever, and us adults have enjoyed every bit of it too - even the Dino Maze!! Definitely looking at going back soon!!Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 23 August 2023
- Kelly P1 contributionWell worth the tripReally good day. The kids loved the zipline and bouncing pillows. The indoor play pit was huge :D so much to do with plenty of places to sit and eat. The app caused us to miss a few things but the manager was extremely supportive of putting this right. Amazing day had by kids and us as parents. Will 100% be back again.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 10 September 2023
- hollydale187 contributionsNot impressed! We visited with our grandchildren as part of a scheme to let disabled children have days out. It was absolute chaos! We asked about blue badge parking and we’re directed to the front of the building. The problem was getting out. There were loads of cars parked behind us and no obvious way out and no one around to ask. We slowly drove through groups of families trying to enter the attraction until we found a way out. Not at all safe. We enjoyed the pumpkin and vegetable picking and we managed to get a wheel barrow because we were early. On the way back lots of people were queuing for them and ours was grabbed as soon as we loaded the car. The cafe is described as a “pop up” but it was very messy in the area and the food didn’t look very appetising. Right next to where they were serving were two “pop up” toilets - only one with a baby change unit. They were both very dirty with toilet roll and paper towels everywhere. We decided to do our grandsons nappy change in the car as it was cleaner. It would have cost £48 for us to go in and I would have felt cheated if I’d paid that. Instead of limiting numbers they were totally overwhelmed and didn’t have the staff to cope. It’s not somewhere I shall visit again.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 23 October 2023
- Diane W26 contributionsDisappointedAfter 6 years of visiting regularly and always having a great time with our grandsons. We were shocked at how many changes have been made The family atmosphere been made corporate and very expensive. We could not believe a jacket potato was £7.50 and £1 for the filling. The pumpkin picking is no longer value for money, it cost us 37.50 entrance and if we had eaten for us and two children to eat a jacket potato each it would have been £34.00 ! that's before we got drinks. It all felt less friendly, less welcoming and geared to making money. We have visited many times over the years, but sadly won't return. We felt ripped off.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 28 October 2023

The pumpkin picking was a joyful experience with a great variety available for selection. The play barn, complete with slides, was a fantastic entertainment hub for kids. Delicious food options added to the enjoyment of the day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a wonderful family day out packed with enjoyable activities and excellent service

Visited to pick our own pumpkins, as a family of 4.
We had a wonderful time - guided to a car parking spot and then through to the reception quickly despite there being a big amount of people arriving at the same time.
For your entry pice you get a pumpkin, a corn cob, 4 potatoes and 4 carrots per ticket holder - all pick your own. And you can pay a reasonable price for more of each if you like. There was a huge selection of pumpkins ranging in size and colour. The kids had a blast selecting their produce.
We also saw the animals, the dinosaurs. and had a milkshake made with the fresh farm milk. Tractors for the kids to sit on, and plenty of places to have photos or have a sit down. We found it easy to find a wheel barrow, seemed to be plenty to go around.
Plenty of space to carve your own pumpkins on-site if you wanted too.
The only thing lacking was perhaps a place selling hot drinks closer to the pumpkin field. A mulled cider or hot choc would have been very welcome after an hour in the field.
And the farm cafe was pretty busy so we went else where to eat - which we’d planned to do already - we just might have been tempted to eat there if there had been a smaller queue.
When leaving another staff member was on hand to guide us out of the car park.
Overall a fantastic few hours, and we’ll be back next year!

Myself and my partner visited the park today to meet our friends and their one year old.
The parking situation was absolutely dire - the attendants were clearly struggling to manage the parking, and it felt dangerous with so many families walking through the car park too
We were surprised to realise that we would have to pay £15 to enter the soft play area and then a further £12 for the pumpkin event. This felt very expensive and is not clearly advertised on the website.
We were then told that our friends would need to collect us from reception, as we would not be permitted entry without a child. I queried this policy, trying to understand why we would have to prove that we were with a child... and was told that's just how it was. We waited a short while in reception, us both feeling embarrassed at having to ask our friends to come get us and angry as it felt as though we were being accused of being predators of some kind. Another member of staff asked why we were in reception, and we explained. They tried to explain to us that their policy is for safeguarding purposes in the most condescending manner. Again, it makes us feel like lesser, dangerous citizens all because we don't have kids. I appreciate that the soft play area is designed for kids, but me and my partner and I will often visit farms and zoos to see the animals because even adults like animals!
We've never been treated like this at other farms we've gone to. I felt like we were treated as a risk to the children because apparently sex offenders don't have kids?? I'm appalled at our treatment and their policy. The children's safety should 100% be considered, but this blanket policy is awful, and at the VERY least should be clearly communicated on the website to save any other people having to go through what we had to go through today.

We visited on Saturday 7th October for Pumpkin picking. This is our 3rd year picking pumpkins at the farm and once again it did not disappoint. For 2 adults and 1 child it cost just over £30. We came away with a good selection of pumpkins, corn and potatoes. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My 3 year old made great friends with Violet the Witch who was fantastic when interacting with the children. We enjoyed a hot drink (£4.50 for 3 drinks) whilst our little one played on the inflatable slide. Our little boy also enjoyed seeing some of the animals whilst were there, particularly the donkeys. I think this is a good value family outing - we wee there for over 2 hours and could’ve easily stayed longer.

Went to the Home Ed group held on a Monday, it was absolutely brilliant! Workers and Farmer were so friendly, patient and polite. Facilities were clean, and so much for the children to do.

The team at LDF couldn’t have made sorting a party for 30 x 5 year olds, and their siblings, any smoother. From booking the party until the end of the ‘big day’, the staff went above and beyond. We had a fab party, kids and parents had a blast, on a Saturday late afternoon. We had the venue to ourselves from 5pm, which the kids enjoyed, along with their party food. Getting them to leave for bed time was the only challenging part of the whole thing!
Thanks to a fantastic venue and team, we always love going to LDF. Thanks also to Farmer Rich and Farmer Ray for their entertainment!
