Brilliant day out

Fantastic day out, such a good soft play and outdoor play areas for the kids. Also, I must say that Sue in the cafe was such a great, helpful person - a real credit to the place!

Perfect full day out
Oct 2021
Have visited 5 times now. So much to see and do. Love the tractor rides into the fields, play barn is huge. Lots of outdoor activities too. The small animals petting area is great. Stroke the bunnies and Guinea pigs. There were even yellow fluffy chicks in there! We live close by so it is a perfect day out for the kids. Honey pots cafe have a decent selection of meals. Reasonably priced.

Lovely little day out for a family from Manchester
Oct 2021 • Family
We booked here for my daughter's birthday day out. She loves farms and animals and being outdoors so it looked the ideal place. We went as a family of four (children aged 4 + 6) and took my elderly mum.
There was so much there to keep the kids busy. They loved the zip line, the bouncing pillow, the huge sandpit (we took our own buckets), play park, and the inflatables. She wasn't that interested in the petting area as we have two rabbits at home (and two guinea pigs who have recently departed this earth) and was only offered a guinea pig to stroke when she really wanted to stroke a chick. No worries because then she became distracted with the farm animals in the next bit.
Pigs, goats, cows, ducks...standard farm animals. One of the goats was headbutting the fence as a child was knocking on it which made us sad but once they had gone, the goat stuck it's head up and seemed happier.
The only let down of the day was the cafe. It seemed chaos. Not sure if it was purely because it was half term but we waited an hour for our food, but there is a huge soft play area to entertain the kids whilst they wait. The soft play area is shut regularly for cleaning and there was hand sanitizer throughout the place and the toilets were clean and well equipped. Lovely little day out

Fabulous family day out!
Oct 2021 • Family
My husband found this place as we live in Oxfordshire with our new (5 months) baby and his family live in Cheshire so we wanted somewhere to meet between the two, with enough activities to keep 6 kids (the other five of them aged between 4 and 7) and four adults entertained for the day. Tbh, hopes weren't that high but oh my goodness, what a fantastic day out this was!!
Firstly the soft play area was brilliant - huge and plenty to keep them occupied. All the kids loved it and we (adults) were able to sit and catch up over a coffee. After that we went outside and there was lots more to do - huge drop-slides in a separate barn, plus different outdoor play areas for different ages with everything from "Bouncy Pillows" to zip lines, go-karts, swings and climbing frames.
It's all set on a working farm so there was opportunity for animal interactions, and my nephew's favourite - a tractor ride! Tractor took us to a field where we each got a bag and could pick our own potatoes! Kids loved that and my husband sent them each off with the task of finding the biggest and smallest they could! This was all included in the entry ticket price which we feel was real value for money.
I have to say as well that the staff were lovely, friendly and really seem to care about the place and our experience.
I should also add that as someone with a small baby, the loos and changing facilities were excellent...I read another review that said there were only a couple of toilets... not sure where they went, but we found the loos were enormous, plenty of cubicles and even sinks of different sizes so smaller people could wash their hands without being lifted.
We thought the whole place had been really well thought through and the attention to detail creating a facility for all the family was noticeable . We finished our day with some lovely photos of the kids in a little pumpkin-themed photo area. We are planning a "Cousins Catch Up" every month hereon, and I can see us coming back here again and again! Loved it!

Needs TLC
Sep 2021 • Family
The place needs a lot of time and money spending on it. Don’t get me wrong, the soft play area is fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed it but the rest of the activities are tired and have been neglected! Expensive chicken burger - looked like one of those processed ones out of a box of 4 costing just over a pound. Kids chips and begets were ok.

Enjoyed the Maize Maze
Aug 2021
We booked to attend the Maize Maze.

Booking was easy, with lots of information provided on the website and Facebook in advance (although it should be noted that you should check both, as the information is not always duplicated over both).

The maize map was not very useful, but we had fun.

There is a small play area for children and the sunflowers were available to pick and take home for a charity donation which was a nice touch.

It was a shame that the little cafe was not open, but as we were only 1 of approx. 4 families, I can see that it would probably not be worth their time opening every day.

We were told to visit here by a friend who had a toddler too and we weren't disappointed. My son who is almost 3 had the greatest day! Well worth the money and so much to do, good variety of food and drinks and the soft play has areas for different ages which was perfect.

Good day out :)
Sep 2021 • Family
Thoroughly enjoyed our day.

The grass sledges/toboggan track was a little underwhelming, it’s not very long and the incline is next to nothing.

The go karts are pedal karts, they’re difficult to pedal at first but once you’re moving they go a pretty decent speed

There’s a bouncy castle area with 2 castles including slides

The zip wires are decent and get up to a pretty good speed

There’s an old fire engine for the kids to explore, as well as play areas, a blow up bouncy pillow thing, and a tractor trailer ride, Sally is a really good tour guide during this, my kids thought she was great, they spent most of the ride giggling.

The soft play area is really good and quite big, the big drop slides are in their own section and they’re huge, definitely give those a go

There’s goats, cows, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, meerkats, donkeys, llamas, eagle owl and a turtle.

The food is expensive so recommend bringing a picnic.

The staff are already friendly, there’s plenty of parking and the gift shop isn’t a rip off like some places

Decent soft play, all a bit overpriced.
Aug 2021 • Family
Did the camping pitch up and play option.

For £35 you get a spot on a rock hard ground and access to 3 toilets. The 'on site showers' are over half a mile away! That's right, if you want a shower, you have to drive to them.

So after being ripped off and missold for the camping, we then had the same treatment inside. The food sounds great on the menu, but the quality does not match the price tag or description at all. Pay over £10 for a burger that resembles a £1 microwave rustlers.

A lot of the rides and play areas are poor quality equipment. For example, the tobaggon is about 10 metres long and certainly not a tobaggon. The go karts are rusted pedal bikes.

The soft play areas are good to be fair.

The clientele mainly belong on Jeremy Kyle, though you can't blame the place for that.
