Unlike other reviewers, I don’t actually think that the sands here are particularly special in comparison to other beaches in the area. With the surrounding landscape however, you get an attractive an peaceful bay, well worth an hour of anyone’s time.

A short walk from our hotel down to the shore line. A small area below the campsite with clear water and a peaceful setting.

We are enjoying our stay at the campsite, and feel incredibly lucky to have this as our daily dog walking beach. It’s absolutely stunning, white sands and clear blue sea. We’ve even braved swimming in the sea, along with the dog, which is not as...More

Scourie is a most pleasant place to stay and a good touring centre for attractions further north and south.

Crystal clear water. I even swam in it. It is tidal. Good for catching crabs, bird and seal viewing. White sand and clear water.

Very peaceful and with an interesting burial ground adjacent. Probably good walking but we ran out of time.

Stayed at the campsite it's wonderful and an ideal base to tour the area. Canoe the bay, or walk the beach. Beyond the graveyard is a fissure containing the oldest rocks on earth the Lewisian Gneiss. Lovely place to visit, great local shop to stock...More
