Amazing canton in the Østerdalen of Norway. Easy access from mainroad. Good for hiking and photos. I recommend a stop here. Its a toll road, dont know if we have to pay to get to Jurulhogget, but to be sure, we paid.

Great place to visit when you drive E3 in Østerdalen. The site is close to the main road. Jutulhogget is the largest canyon in Northen Europe, and it is an impressiv view from the top. Drive past the first parking place and stop a little further up the road. It is a short 3 min. walk on a small path... More

This "canyon" is important and interesting because of how it was formed. Good information for tourists at the site. Not far from the main road (E3) - about one kilometre.

Nice place to explore since its just by the Riksveg, its a canyon made by a glacier/river disaster, if you drive østerdalen it is absolutely worth visiting this site once. The visit do not take more than 5-15 minutes, and you can take a nice photo. There is a small fee you should pay, because of the private road,

The Jutulhogget canyon is a nice "hidden" treasure in the Norwegian mountains, mainly because it is virtually not at all signposted or advertised. As a beautiful geological formation it is, however, well worth a visit if you drive along road 3 close to Barkald. It is 2,4 km long and about 250 m deep and thus one of the largest... More
