Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The last stop on our winery tour of Mendoza, we arrived at Florio in the early evening shortly before they closed. As the name suggests, they specialise here in floral and fruity dessert wines; though some less sweet options are made here as well, which was good as I prefer wine not too sweet and not too dry. Given that we had already had the process of making wine explained to us several times that day, it was thankfully such a relief when our guide told us we would be skipping the full tour and simply having an extended tasting session.

It was a shame not to see more of the facilities, but given that we tried decent sized glasses of about twelve or so different options, this was not missed too much. Since several of the tasting options they offer you an "either/or" option with red or white, it is a good idea to team up with someone if you want to taste everything. The guide was very knowledgeable about the different tastes as well.

Afterwards, in the store, we noticed that the prices here were actually pretty good; slightly cheaper than the other bodegas we visited and only a little more than supermarket wine would have been. We took two non-sweet bottles with us, which were greatly enjoyed back at the hostel that night and in Chile a few days later.

We really enjoyed the wine tasting and tour at Florio. It is perfect if you want to try something different from red wines as you can try a combination of sweet wines. We were the only two people there at the time and the girl really looked after us.
We spoke in a mixture of Spanish and English so we could practice our Spanish and she could practice her English. It was a lovely afternoon!

The wines here were definitely unique--and my friend and I both tried our first red sparkling wine here--and the woman hosting the tasting was nice and knowledgeable, but I felt like it was a tad rushed. There was no one else even there, so I'm not sure what the hurry was, but maybe they just wanted to be ready for the next visitors? I can't say.

We also had a little tour (which was either free or came with the price of tasting, which was $100 pesos for 5 wines), and that was interesting.

I do recommend going here, if only to try some different wines, but be prepared that it might feel a little hurried.

We stopped here after visiting another winery. This winery specializes in sweet and fortified wines. Our guide was great. She was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the production of sweet wines. The tasting was very nice. Another great winery in the Mendoza area.

I hate to be critical but this was the worst wne tasting I have ever had the wines are all sweet. And I like sweet wines, but these wines are of mediocre to bad quality and the winery is run down.

This winery was part of our afternoon wine tour. They produce good wines which were a bit different than other wineries offered. We got a sweet white wine, a specific cold red wine and a liquor wine. It was a great experience to have three totally different wines to taste! Our guide gave interesting information in very good English! We enjoyed it! Definitly a good place to visit in Mendoza!

This was my third winery and the tour was great but somewhat repeated from the previous one (process). The mood changed when we got to the tasting part, the person in charge of the tasted was charming, funny and kept us laughing. I wished I remembered her name but she was one of the things that ice remember the most.

The wines were great and quite different from the other wineries. and gave us to 4 wines to taste. Even bought wine.

Thank you!

I loved this place. It was or last stop on our wineries tour. Here we mainly sampled all kinds of sweet varieties of wine, plain and sparkling. Being of Italian ascent, the favours in my palate brought a lot of childhood memories with my grandparents. The guide here was fun friendly and they were generous in the pouring as well. They have really good prices too. It's a small winery buy you shouldn't miss it.

We had a very informative tour of this old winery. They specialize in sweet wines like marsala, sparkling wine and regular wines. Most of their marsala wines are used by Freddo ice creams to flavor their Sabayon ice cream flavor. We also saw how labels are applied and wines bottles. I highly recommend them for the quality of their wine and the generous tasting.
