Get the year round pass because it never disappoints going up this mountain. I'd even go so far to say that the best time to ascend is winter, with rain all about. The lack of wind and views of clouds are often the best!

It was awesome! Just a few tips: bring a warm jacket, take up some coffee if you can or champagne to warm you up... there is a wifi spot upstairs but best to absorb the beauty of the city! Payment special is only for RSA...More

Really interesting place. The cable car is a great way to get to the top. There’s a lot of space to discover and signs with informations on the top.

The cableway is one of the major attraction in Cape Town. The more disturbing it is that ticket sales and especially queuing is still a nightmare!! It does not help to online book as the cableway staff decides on who is going up and who...More

Book in advance to avoid long queues, but you can still expect to wait, as "pre-booked" queue is about an hour long at peak times. Take a picnic basket and breath in the beauty of one of the most stunning spots on the planet.

Hop on, Hop off bus (red route). It departs from the V&A Waterfront about every 10, or 15 minutes. Something around 200 ZAR for a ticket, which lasts you all day.
