We had some time after visiting Krka, and great weather, so decided to drive about 1 hour to Knin Fortress. The Fortress is well preserved and a fun place for kids to grownups (not necessarily for preschoolers ).

Definitely worth of visit, real piece of history with beautiful view.
Be aware that during the summer it is really hot and you should wear hats and take water with you. There is one small restaurant but there is no store.
