Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Possibly the nicest beach on Samos, but parking might be difficult at the top of the track. A short stroll down the hill through a large taverner and a board walk take you to the sea with loungers and waiter service. Good food and libations and very family orientated. To the far left after the beach loungers is natural and relatively undisturbed beach and it appears to be clothing optional, but it may not be officially so. There were ten couples there most days and some mature Greek ladies most days. But it was lovely, quiet and respectful.
The sand slopes gently into the sea and is shallow for a long way out.
As a bonus you can’t tell if the Meltemi is blowing, we left our hotel with Palm trees swaying and tablecloths fluttering to find a flat calm at Psiili Amos …. Our beach of choice on Samos

Wonderfull sandy beach with clear water. It’s more kids friendly than the more rocky Votsalakia beach, as the water is more calm and lower. The are to restaurants / bars there were you can by drinks and food and get a swim in a small pool. There are chairs and umbrellas if needed.

6 euro 2 sunbeds, the taverna had poor customer service. The food was not so good, they were not fast at all for cooking grilled chicken breast & fries we waited 30 min. The waiter took my bag and my belongings from the table and moved them without asking me.
Then 2 women went swimming too far and some ppl noticed and asked desperately for a lifeguard. Somebody came but They were moving very slow, as if they were deciding if it was worth it to go to those girls, cuz they saw they reached a small island. Eventually, they climbed in the boat, but they forgot to take off the rope, so they were pulled back, obsiously. Then they finally went for those girls.
As they came back, one of the girls was feeling sick and she was very injured and bleeding from her foot. They had no first aid kit, and when I asked for one, they did nothing.
Besides of the great view, the sand, and the blue calm water, there was nothing spectacular.
I left a bit anxious because I felt really insecure about receiving any first aid if needed.
If that situation was life threatening, it could have ended really bad because of the lack of fast reaction.

Psili Ammos Beach was recommended to me several times and I took it. Reached the beach after a nice scenic drive along a winding road. Parking is 3euro
The beach is clean, has tiki style umbrellas, lounge chairs, a beautiful vibe, a bar, restaurant and warm sandy sand.
I hope to visit again

We were based on the north side of the island exposed to the winds and the rougher sea, which we liked.
This beach is very sheltered and sandy , the sea is shallow and ideal for young children.
Beds and umbrellas at 5 Euro , more organised than some areas.
Good choice of tavernas to the back of the beach with some situated seafront.
Good oarking

This was a 1.5 hour walk from our accommodation and was worth it. The beach was not busy and the sea was shallow for a long way out

It is impossible to calm and enjoy your time in this beach. Too many people, too many cars and too many everthing. Also, you should pay for sunbeds!

Good beach, quiet. Sunbeds are free, as long as you have drink. You just pay for umbrella which was very reasonable at 5 euros
