If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Lewis Hamilton then this is a great way to get a flavour of what it's like to drive an F1 car (without the neck/back pain and the every present danger!). Not just F1 cars but all sorts of other types of racing car new and vintage and circuits from all over the world. The staff are racers themselves and extremely knowledgable. I have visited several times with business colleagues and friends just for a bit of fun, and I've joined their club for a bit of guidance from the staff and other club members too to improve my technique. It's situated within the Steamer who do great food and we have a break in the club evening for a bit of BBQ or pizza. A thoroughly entertaining and satisfying experience.

Fantastic experience. Never done this simulation before so went along and loved it. Really friendly staff (Pete) l think his name was. Explained everything really well. We did the 15 mins experience which was great but will be booking the next one for 30mins. Loads of tracks to test, really realistic, can talk to other drivers. Definitely give it a go. Also there is a decent cafe here. We had a breakfast and drinks .

We went to the Apex Racing Centre for a work social. Oli hosted us really well and made sure the settings were correct for our mixed ability group. If you want an exciting immersive driving experience, I can’t recommend Apex and Oli highly enough! We’ll definitely be back!

Wow, what a great time we had! Who knew us girls could be so competitive?! Lol! We were greeted by Peter who explained everything clearly and had us champing at the bit to get racing. If you are thinking of having a go yourself or getting a gift that's something a bit different... THIS IS FOR YOU! 👍

Had a superb morning at Apex. Peter did a great job of building us up to the GT3 class cars. They have a huge selection of tracks and cars; a return visit will be a must as we barely scratched the surface!

First time visiting today. Booked up for my husband and our three grown up adult boys. They were not too sure what to expect but they all had such an amazing experience, lots of laughs, friendly competition and just quality family time! Peter talked us through the controls, what to expect and some hints and tips. He was great! We’ll definitely go back as so many tracks and car options to explore. One visit just isn’t enough. Ollie was really helpful, and brave, taking on on four 8 yr olds, extra cushions, choosing cars and track combinations for them. A real bargain for 30 mins at the holiday rates. Families we took along had never been there and were amazed by the cafe and relaxed atmosphere. We and they will be back..

Wow! Yesterday was my first ever visit to Apex Race Centre and I can't wait to go again! Oli was a fantastic host and gave us an experience to remember. This visit was a business based trip, but as soon as I finished I got on the phone to some of my friends that I would love to race against. This is without doubt the closest I have ever got to real motor racing. I've done track days before but the simulator allows you to really push the limits and test your ability to drive around a racing circuit at speed. Like a lot of blokes, I arrived thinking I'd be the next Nigel Mansell, but I soon realised that this is no computer game. The realistic sounds and feedback from the headset, steering wheel and seat make you realise very quickly that you have to treat the car as if it were real. Just brillaint! When I go next time, I will take 3 friends and the plan is to have a breakfast at the Steamer Cafe before going all out in an actual race. I can't wait.

We came today as a family for breakfast and thought we would book the Apex Race Centre as we’ve never had a go. Pete went above and beyond explaining everything in depth. My family had a great day out! Thank you
