We were staying in The Armoury across the road from the church so had the benefit of visiting early in the day and the early spring atmosphere was just sublime!

While visiting the Glenfinnan Viaduct we walked up the road to this quaint Gothic church which had amazing views of Loch Schiel. We did not go inside and I'm not sure if you can but the outside is just lovely. The detail is amazing and...More

Discovered this while walking from the Glenfinnan House Hotel to the viaduct and poked around a little bit, just a beautiful piece of history!

This church overlooks loch Shiel. Benches are strategically placed so you can armoede the view. Very photogenic building. Loved the scottish thistle and the scenes depicted in the window.

I passed the church while walking to the Viaduct and Monument. It's peaceful and beautifully located. Glenfinnan Church is well worth a visit if you're passing by.

This is a beautiful church to visit. There is parking outside and it is only a short distance from the monument and viaduct. Worth stopping by if you are visiting the area.

Nestled on the hill overlooking Loch Shiel and the Glenfinnan monument this beautiful church is well worth a visit. Recently restored to a very high standard. Parking is available and a short walk gives access to the church and views beyond.

nice old church with plenty of parking outside, good views of Loch Shiel, easy walk back to the viaduct as well saves getting involved in the congested car park there.
