We hired a motor boat to go out on the loch for a few hours, Eddie was helpful and the booking system was simple. The views and scenery are amazing and our old dog Mylo loved his time looking out over the side.

Brilliant. Eddie was brilliant. The lady in the shop, thanks for everything. Showed us what was what although we have done it before at Balmaha, a few years ago . Didn't think of it as being expensive. Spur of the moment decision. Weather was fab....More

We hired kayaks on the spot for an hour. Costs and service were friendly and reasonable £15 for two for an hour. The organisation between where you pay and collect the boats/ kayak was erratic. Thankfully we had kayaked before and knew what we were...More

Hi, thankyou for your kind words regarding the café. Sorry you found the boat trip pricey, but these are run by Loch Tay Safaris, not our Boating Centre.

We hired a small boat for an hour- £30, courtesy of Eddie. All equipment was provided including a life jacket for the dog. The Loch is lovely and worth a trip. We did run out of petrol towards the end of our hour. This added...More

At the north end of Loch Tay is the boat part of the Highland Safaris business. With parking for a few cars, a café and outstanding scenery all around this is worth the money (around £25 per adult). The rib-boat is very modern with comfy...More

Great day on Loch Tay, and what a nice guy looking after us. My gripe is about the cafe. My wee man got stared at by the two staff as he was obviously (not) too wet to sit on the plastic chairs. And I got...More

Sorry you felt this way, but it is a working café, so I have to try and keep the floors dry and safe. As for the dog at the table, I think I would have been shut down had the food hygiene people come in!...More

I'm sorry you got this impression Elizabeth. We did have a very long, and very busy day and were trying to catch up with everything. As there is no deposit for the kayaks we are unsure of when they come back in from hire, so...More
