We are an Independent Family run business with 30 Years experience in Kayak and Canoeing. We have a wide range of craft from Rowing Boats to Kayaks and Canoes both family friendly or individual. Being based right on the River Thames you can get straight on . We are happy to advise on trip suitability . Booked a half day to kayak.... it was great! The friendly team got us on the water within minutes of arriving. We enjoyed a lovely morning on the river... even as a novice I had a great time and can't wait to go again.

Me and my boyfriend have come away for a days and decided to give Cotswold canoe hire and go... what an amazing trip, we hired a canoe for 3 hours and what a beautiful scenic route.
Dogs are welcome both in the canoes and in the water which made the experience that more special
Staff are very friendly and accommodating
Would definitely recommend and come again if we are in the area.

We hired a rowing boat with our 2 young children. Friendly, helpful staff helped us into the boat we were then left to enjoy the river. Had a lovely peaceful hour. The children loved it also.

Myself and my husband went kayaking on Saturday and u was a little nervous as we had never done it before. I cant recommend this company enough. We had a wonderful time and Eve and Jago made our experience 10/10 we will definitely be returning.

We hired a Canadian style canoe and the crew drove us to the top of the Thames (15 min drive) and then helop us launch and on our way. 2 adults and 2 happy dogs paddling gently for 3 hours back to Lechlade. A few challenging but fun parts under willows at the beginning and then tranquility and wildlife. The crew at Cotswolds Canoeing were awesome - friendly, smiley and helpful. Will be back to paddle more next time

We chose a pedallo....a pink flamingo called Bingo! This was a really fun way to explore the beautiful upper reaches of the River Thames and we had the added bonus of seeing newly hatched moorhen chicks....little black bundles of fluff.
One of our group has mobility problems and the friendly person hiring out the boats was really good at helping him safely into the peddalo for a lovely river adventure.
We live nearby, and had visitors to entertain. This was a really good way to do it. We had lunch at the Riverside Pub before our river trip. Top tip: if you want tea and cake after your river trip, be aware that the adjacent Tea Chest closes at 4.00pm.

Can me and my husband take our 6 & 8 year old on a Canadian canoe?
HI, Our Canadian Canoes have three seats. Children sit in the middle seat which is smaller. Because of this two small children can sit side by side. We would normally say up to Age 6/7.
Are dogs allowed on the swan pedalos?
Yes we welcome dogs on all our craft!

Yes you can hire rowing boats, as for price I’m unsure as it depends on how long you hire them for, I’d recommend giving them a call as they are more than happy to answer an queries over the phone.
