Stunning white sand beach on the edge of this simple fishing village in the north of Fuerteventura. There's a beach bar serving drinks and good food but the real draw here is the crystal clear water in rock pools and that powdery white sand beach...More

El Cotillo is a very quiet and under exploited place, the beaches are unspoilt and not crowded at all. Being on the Atlantic side it has great surf but if it is calm it has some great snorkelling also.

We had a couple of amazing days here, lovely sheltered beaches and safe water (lagoons) for paddling/swimming. We ate at the little beach restaurant and then watched the sunset on the rocks. A perfect day had by us all here 🌅😍❤️

These beaches go on and on, they are fairly narrow but the sand is golden. there are small cliffs at the top of the beach, offering lots of shelter for sunbathing. You might also get visited by the local chip monk community!

This is one of the best beaches on the island. Quiet at this time of the year and always clean. A credit to all the people who care about the island.

Yes it has changed even in the past five years. At the moment there are between 35 and 40 hire cars parked each day and the nicest lagoon is more like Clacton than Cotillo. Sadly most of the babble comes from British... More
