Big chill area

Great coastline with big waves and great views of Lanzarote, nice beaches and good restaurants while away the time watching the kite surfers, wind surfers and chill

Perfect with my kids 5 and 6. The lagoon offered shelter from the big waves. There are some naturist here, so if you are very prude beware. I recommend it!

Cotillo is just a fantastic place to visit and especially with kids as the lagoons are perfect for them to play in as they are very shallow. this part of the island is beautiful and even a walk to the lighthouse is superb. I highly recommend this spot.

Great clean beaches, not overcrowded. Good for sun worshippers. Rock pooling. But must be aware of the strong currents when swimming

Not a lot to do but sunbathe A very quiet sleepy village with loads of lovely beaches you would probarly be better off with a car so you are not trapped

Wonderful lagoons which are safe for swimming and perfect for families with young children. Lots of wind breaks dotted around made from volcanic stone built overtime by holiday makers picking up the many rocks strewn around the beach. Not commercialised at all, fabulous!

Breathtaking views, beautiful lagoons with soft and sandy beaches protected from the waves. You can park close to some of the more popular beaches or walk / bycicle to some more secluded ones. A minus for all the nudists at the popular beaches, quite a common sight in Fuerteventura.

If you visit this island and down this end then the sunset is an absolute must. Have a coffee and watch it set.
